  1. Now you do Just kidding with you - it's all good my man.
  2. Bet! No, I mean I will put up 2 separate trips. You buy one meal if Central sweeps the two district games. If Ozen wins one or both, I buy two separate meals at different times. So giving you 2 to 1 on your bet. and doggie bags allowed on both trips. I can't finish one either.
  3. While my point was flying over your head A trip to Austin as in UIL if DC had not granted the request...not state
  4. Those 2 and the dynamic duo from Central are ahead of the pack. When you can touch rim without leaving the ground, you have my vote at the 5.
  5. Pappadeaux's? I will even put up 2 meals against one.
  6. PG - Arnold (Kountze) SG - Bullock (Big Sandy) (HM - Saladin) SF - Pearson (Central) PF - Atwood (Central) C - Yannick (Central)
  7. Definitely going to be a wing dinger of a battle for second
  8. Glad he was cleared by DC. Although I always appreciate a reason to make a trip to Austin...
  9. I knew you wouldn't be familiar with a rock and roller from Canada. Although he's probably around your age
  10. They were really good back in the summer of 69...
  11. and like last year and the year before, they will take home the Tupperware, not the hardware. Trust me.
  12. Read my mind. I would think honesty is a core value. Unless you curse, of course...
  13. So true. Even some of the biggest sunshine pumpers are now admitting the "war on drugs" has been anywhere from ineffective to a colossal failure. As you point out though, that's the easy part. The statistics don't lie. The hard part is the answers. Those are fewer and farther in between. One at least interesting approach was taken by Portugal over two decades ago. Pretty sure it would never make it through over here, unless people were willing to do some serious soul searching with a heavy dose of honesty and humility. [Hidden Content]
  14. I can no longer use aggy math for the rest of the season. My Horns are like 3 degrees of separation from losing to every team in D1 :(
  15. I was going to make a crack about Toledo beating Arkansas and then losing to NIU, Buddy. Then I remembered they also beat Iowa State who just... Doh!
  16. The more your mouth says "we've moved on," the more your actions say we can't ever leave. As always, your deep, deeeeeep obsession is noted...
  17. Paging Doc Brown. Urban says Hi and more SEC please...
  18. But Ole Miss beat aggy so that trumps all!
  19. Hmmm, that should shake out then. Wonder what the top 3 teams in the FPI have in common? Oh yeah, all Big 12 teams (Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma).
  20. You have the attention span of a 2 year old
  21. -Last year’s eventual national champion, Ohio State, debuted at No. 16 in the first CFP poll a year ago. -Only one of the eventual top four teams last year (No. 2 Florida State) was in the top four in the inaugural poll, validating the fluidity of these rankings.
  22. So cussing violates core values? Don't throw your shoulder out reaching. Sadly, you may have to stalk Charlie somewhere else next year.
  23. The Patterson rumors are ridiculous IMO. No negotiations took place until after the option period. However, as I've said before, UA made it known as early as July (around the time the Michigan/Nike deal was leaking) it was willing to open the bidding at 150 over 10. This is done all the time by all the major players with institutions and players. You are correct that part of the UA tender was stock based. However, UT could liquidate on the market if it chose, and many would estimate the value could be more than $26M/yr based on this. UA has shown continual growth and with Steph Curry/Jordan Spieth/Tom Brady/Kershaw/Harper, etc., they continue to grab more of the market. Regardless of all of that, apples to apples it was almost $10M/year more. It is enough there is some head scratching going on.
  24. Final deal was $250M over 15 years. However, UA final offer was $260M over 10 years. In addition, UA was prepared to commit to relocating their corporate headquarters to Austin, demonstrating their intention to make UT the brand of the brand. From what I'm told, the interim AD turned UA down without so much as a formal meeting. Glad he is comfortable turning down $10 mil a year. For what it's worth, football was pushing for Nike while Shaka and Co. wanted Under Armour.
