Rules are rules. Which is why they have a hardship exception. Say you were in a foreign country trying to better your life, the school you attended shut down, and another family took you in and you enrolled in the school for which you were zoned. Again, if the DC does not grant an exception based on the situation (and an inordinate amount of whining), that will not be the last say in the matter. We will have to wait and see how it unfolds...
We shall see. A little different situation. This kid's parents don't live in a neighboring school district. A little longer commute to Beaumont from Nigeria than Hampshire or Fannett or Cheek. I assume the DC will rule against him but, if so, we will see what the folks in Austin have to say.
If Texas beats OU, I will be too drunk to drink by Saturday night. And probably a little sore after all the monkeys or pigs or whatever flew out of my backside.
Toughest conference in CFB once again. Can't be as bad as some ahead of them when in their last game, they took ASU to the shed in Tempe. 35-doughnut at half as I recall....
It's all very simple. If you want to be eligible to play for a particular school, contact Mr. Buddy Garrity. He can arrange for a mailbox in any district in SETX, as well as other parts of the State, for a small fee. It's much cheaper than tuition too...
Don't sleep on the district rival. Before last season, I predicted Silsbee would only lose 3 district games (at most) in 5 years. I figured in that number that they would lose one last year and one this year.
Mack had lost it by the time he left and had lost the team. I understand that; happens to the best of them. My only issue with him is the way he left; determined they weren't going to hire a coach that would make him immediately look bad.
who is better? And Yates will be guard heavy, like another team that is the source of argument in this thread. Yates just happens to have better guards...
Idk about all that. They are all district performers in this day and age. But to say they are "easily the top 5" (with I presume Atwood and Pearson), beg to disagree. Not going to call out any particular kid but no way is this accurate. And, if Central isn't decidedly better than Ozen this year, they will be watching state on tv as well.
