Malik Jefferson with tackles on 1st and 2nd down and then defense gives up reception on 3rd and long. Malik may be the best defensive player in the state already.
I've found most coeds don't travel. Exceptions to the rule can be big games (like bowl games), playing a marquee team, or if it's a destination city. Games in Austin seem to draw more against out of state teams because people want to visit there. Doesn't surprise me in this one that not many made the trip.
I was merely pointing out that you guys like to use the time machine argument when it suits you. I have no issue with it. Obviously we have had a down period in our program but it is hopefully on the upswing. If we are talking history, which the SEC likes to spout about, especially after coming up short of late, try and find a team we don't have a winning record against. There aren't many. In the meantime, I hope to enjoy a good game tonight between 2 of 3 winningest programs in CFB history (hint: none of the 3 are from the SEJCC).
I was speaking of the '03 "Title". I would have thought the USC reference would have been your fiirst clue. But that's what I get when assuming you LSU guys have any power of deduction. As for going to school, team first, you better hurry. That short bus is waiting....
We shall see. We will also see how awful your Tigers are this year. As for our good years, we have won a championship and played for another more recently than one of th titles you brag about on here (actually the half title you brag about - everyone knows USC was the real champion that year). So can I borrow your Delorian when you get done with it?
how is that Delorean driving? You might stop off in Columbus, Ohio and visit the NC trophy on your journey. The same trophy tOSU won after b**** slapping Bama in the playoffs... Or does your memory cut off 3 years ago?
But, for those of us not in a remedial minded conference and who are concerned with our own team, I think Notre Dame, Cal and Rice is a respectable enough non-conference schedule. And will have Notre Dame, USC, LSU, Arkansas, Ohio State and/or Michigan on the schedule over the next decade or so....
Kind of like Vandy and Kentucky? And I'm not trying to open any wounds, just because A&M recently finished the season tied with cupcake Vandy in the conference standings....

Two of the 3 winningest programs in the history of college football. Gee, I wonder why that's the hottest ticket and will have the highest rankings. Congrats on playing Arizona State :D
I clicked on the thread to get the latest in Texas football from obsessed correspondent, PhatMack. What I found instead was how cheap it is to see that high quality SEC football. Good thing for that TV money. Guess you have to keep the product affordable for the hillbilly fanbase...
Maybe you guys should just try to just be second this year. Speaking of the SEC, of course. Although Big 12 also ran Mizzou does a pretty good job of getting second in the all powerful SEC.
