You're right. And I have noticed they don't puff their chest out when THEY finish 9th in conference.
-
I don't know - I would think the Ags would consider that one quality opponent since Tech absolutely owned A&M during the Big 12 years....

Me thinks someone needs a course in Economics. Because in the world of sport, money almost always is about popularity.

Cowboys offseason thread
TxHoops replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I think it was you who posted the link on his story before the draft. If this is true that he isn't a suspect and had no part in it, how awful the $ this kid lost due to timing. And if so, I was going to rooting on his success wherever he landed so maybe he would be compensated richly on his next contract. Even more so now that he will be with the silver and blue. -
Oh, I thought we were talking about popularity. Just your weekly reminder we have more money than anyone. Even the mighty SEC.

They are for schools whose law school sucks...

Nah I'm talking about in the last decade, sport. But if you want to take it back to the 1930s, you guys can enter the conversation. Well, once anyway...

Yes. But I seem to recall aggy sales being down not so long ago too. No worries. When the ship gets righted, sales will be up and they will close in the south end zone. Capacity will be 120k. And poor aggy will have to narrow those tackle box seats even more to try and keep up with big brother ;)

One of the single best posts in the history of this board 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Because TV ratings = money. And it's tough to be profitable in such a "weak" conference... Oh wait....
-
If only you got wins for 1st round picks, you guys might finally have a team that's better than mediocre. I don't blame you guys for running though. I probably would have done the same had I been literally owned by my rival for a century ;).

Should we compare pro bowlers? Or players in the NFL? No, let's limit it to a specific time period that favors aggy 😂😂

I would like schools who finish 7th-9th in conference but celebrate its conference mates' accomplishments like they are their own. You know, the kind of school whose players perform celebration dances after tackles for loss, despite being drubbed 77-0 at the time? I wonder who would fit that description....

You certainly type faster than me. I was typing my follow up prior to this response ;)

But to answer your question, it's the terrorists that concern me, not the religion. Contrary to popular and simple belief, it's the individuals and not the religion who condone terrorism. So if you are asking which group concerns me the most right now it would be the Muslim extremists who are committing terrorism all over the world.
-
So what you are saying is that I need to keep it simple for you? Duly noted ;)

But which numbers? Since their have been more bombings by so-called Christian groups, are they more dangerous? Obviously, 9/11 is one of the greatest tragedies in this country's history. I agree to this by quantifying the number of lives lost. Just as a mass murderer like Ted Bundy or Charles Manson would be "more dangerous" than someone who killed someone in one isolated incident. However, in our justice system, the punishment for each could be the same, despite the number of lives taken. And, to the loved ones of those killed, it would be "equally" devastating. The point is, and the point originally made, is that as a Christian, I abhor the acts of those who have killed, maimed, and destroyed lives in the name of my religion. Just as most Muslims in this country do with the terroristic acts performed by the few in the name of that religion...
-
If we are talking the pure number of casualties in a given attack, Muslim terrorism. However, it can certainly be argued that any taking of lives through acts of terrorism (which would include any illegal bombing) is equally dangerous.
-
The families who lost loved ones in the over 100 abortion clinic bombings in this country probably classify those "radicals" as terrorists too. Thankfully, that wave has been radically quelled in recent years. As a result, I would agree with your premise on current threats. I was just making a point about certain Muslim groups not being the only terrorists who have posed a significant threat in this country...
