He would probably do pretty well there. SEC is a top heavy conference and isn't near as deep as what he's used to. He does really well and finishing near the top in conference and getting in the tournament.

Idk about that. But he's definitely in the conversation. I don't have a problem with someone putting him #1 though. One thing is for certain - Kentucky will have the 4th best Xs and Os guy at the Final Four. I absolutely put Izzo, Bo Ryan, and both Coach K and Mark Few above him.

Houston Defenders 17u UAA team just beat Texas Lightning by 20 in the semifinals of the Great American Shootout in Dallas. The Lightning is made up of a lot of Bridgeport's HS team and is coached by Brad Chasteen, a former HS Coach from South Grand Prarie and Coppell with over 500 wins before being hired by Mark Cuban's brother in law to coach his AAU team. Devonte Patterson is a beast. I will say this. Silsbee may have a state championship in its future but I can't imagine it will be next year.

Yes!! Thank goodness. I have heard he had no chance to return and then read those articles... Absolutely ridiculous since the assistants were about the only thing holding the program together, most notably Lucas. Please get this done yesterday.

Really, in CBB, a head coach driven sport much more than CFB, the assistants are the problem? Let's start by getting rid of Jai Lucas, the only legitimate recruiter on the staff, now that Barnes' reputation is mud among the top recruits :rolleyes: So incredibly stupid.

I agree. Got to see a bit of both teams. One of the things I liked Is that Kenny and Brady keep their teams at a number where everyone can play and both do a good job with substitutions. See so many teams with 15 or more kids on the bench and some barely playing. Kind of defeats the purpose imo.
