Brighter days ahead. You have 4 incoming freshman playing in the state tournament in San Antonio this weekend as well as a potential 5th. This recruiting class is one for the ages for you guys.

I guess that's why I wouldn't put them in. I can't stand an underachiever. I understand you can't win em all but that team is WAY to talented with such size to have that kind of season. I watched them give arguably one of the best teams we've seen in years all they could handle without arguably their best player. And then they play the conference season like they did. I don't know - I would prefer to reward a team that played up to or beyond their potential first - putting aside my loyalties. But I think you are probably exactly right OT.

Man I spoke too soon when I said A&M should be in a couple of weeks ago. I just didn't think there was any way they would lose out. Any one win might have gotten them in. I still stand by my statement that Texas shouldn't get in (unless they win tonight).

One of the biggest mistakes NFL teams can do is overpay the RB position. You really need 2 and the shelf life is just too short. And Murray has been injury prone his whole career. I agree wholeheartedly. I really would like Shaka Smart but would be happy with Buzz as well.

Word now is Texas must win Big 12 tourney AND make deep run in order for Barnes to keep his job. Talk about a Hail Mary. Favorite to replace him is Gregg Marshall from Wichita State. I still prefer Shaka but it's Marshall apparently who Patterson favors.

Dungy is one of the classiest coaches in any sport that I have seen. I am always interested in his thoughts/opinions.

Unfortunately, this is true way too often. I am proud to have been a member of a fraternity that pledged and initiated the first African American member of any non-traditionally black fraternity on campus. PM - after watching this weekend, how good is this A&M team? I know the schedule hasn't been the toughest but to be undefeated in this sport 15 games in is pretty impressive regardless. I haven't seen them yet.

Lunardi has Texas now as one of last 4 in and A&M as last 4 out. Texas played a much tougher schedule but I don't think I agree. Real bad loss today though.

He's not saying anything different from what you'd hear listening to sports talk radio. Texas has been, is, and always will be the premier program in this state and one of the elite few in the country. In short, we are the program aggy has always coveted. But all the conference moves in the world ain't gonna get you there. Just the facts, ma'am ;)
