The person he lives with is a Tech alum but is pushing Baylor due to Briles (and this person's father's relationship with Briles). Word is that Stidham may end up with your Ducks. His parents (who no longer live in Stephenville) are pushing for him to choose a school out of state. Oregon leads there from what I hear.

This is my biggest issue with him. Not sure he will put in the hours to prepare himself mentally and in the film room. You can't win at this level on athleticism, especially when you're no longer close to the best athlete on the field. The great QBs win between their ears as much or more as with their arms and legs. Whether Manziel has that kind of drive we shall see. -

Worst case scenario, John John would be a beast in midget wrestling... -
We needed a direct representative on the committee....

Horseshoe. The Cub is a cool little bar with a little restaurant in the back that makes the best steak in town.

If only they can trade for Calvin Johnson so he can do his patented scramble around and throw up a P for K to the best player on the field. Hell, it won him a heisman. -

We take coordinators from Auburn. Ags lose them to Auburn. #programprestige

Final piece to the puzzle? Man, some of those pieces are lost 😂

Especially on the defensive end. The job he did on Jonathan Holmes was outstanding.

And if a certain AD would stay out of their biz...

If someone commits who I think will commit, Stevenson was not going to be the top back in this class anyway for the Horns. More to come...

Or maybe something about 3 of the board members? -
Agreed. One looks to be an NCAA tourney team, the other looks to be an NIT or CBI tourney team...

He now has a fan for life in me. I don't even mind it was my Celtics he beat in the effort. [Hidden Content]

And let me amend the above to say "some Aggies." I know plenty of Ags who think the whole thing is as silly as I do. As I would guess the other SEC schools would. Given the locations of its conference mates, it is a breeding ground for "t shirt fans." Heck, the state of Louisiana is one giant purple and gold t shirt.

Ran out of likes. Great post. Was in Rupp Arena last weekend with 24k other folks. I would guess over half were "t shirt" fans according to aggy. Was in Lexington all weekend. Never heard the term once. Never heard it in DKR either. Heard it a bunch in Aggieland. It's an aggy thing. I guess it's kind of like squeezing your junk when you need a score. You'd have to be a gomer to get it...

Yep. Next year they should be one of your Wildcats' toughest opponents. If they aren't, they should send Kennedy to the same home they sent Fran.

I was told by someone who I consider to be an extremely reliable source that he had "no shot" at getting the job. I didn't ask nor was I given an explanation. I can only assume now that the person knew four people would definitely vote no. -

Don't read Chip. I get my news a little closer to the source. And by a little, I mean a lot. It's a fact Jack. This isn't connect the dots/let's match up records. It does give the conference an explanation why it didn't choose to give the people the game it wanted. Texas wanted it, and the Texas Bowl obviously wanted it. Texas accepted the bid not knowing who it was going to get, but hoping for the Ags. The SEC said no thanks. Do I think the Ags had anything to do with not playing in the game? I lean toward no. I don't think Slive is too awfully concerned with whether they did or they didn't. I'm sure he would listen but his directives come from a much higher power. He and the sec knows the Aggies are just so happy to be able to sit at the big boy table now. But do I think the sec would have not only said No, but Hell No to giving the Longhorns a chance to B-Slap the Aggies in a highly anticipated rematch of the rivalry? Of course. And that is exactly what happened. Chimp printed a story he was fed to throw down the proverbial gauntlet while thinking he had a scoop. And it served its purpose. Do I think the Aggies are yellow? I don't know if they wanted to play or not. Did they have a choice? No. Did the SEC make them look yellow? Yes. Does the SEC care? No. It's certainly better to appear weak than to have that confirmed in front of millions on national tv.

If God has any interest in football, the Irish win. Since I'm pretty sure He could care less, I'll take the drunken Cajuns.

If tcu shows up to play and doesn't mail it as we've seen some teams do when they don't get the bid they want, they beat the hell out of ole miss. Too much firepower on offense and an underrated defense. One of the best, if not the best, teams in the country. Period.

Will help the Aggie cause as well if Peyton Allen is able to make some 3s tonight. He's another freshman who is from Illinois. Kid is capable of filling it up from beyond the arc.
