I think a lot of teams would have 12 bowl eligible teams if they got to play 4 non conference games and 90 percent of those teams used those 4 games to play FCS teams or teams that play like FCS teams. Just sayin...

Man, you just want it both ways don't you? "They made a bowl game, we're awesome!" AND "But the ACC beat them because they suck!" How many of those awful teams that lost to the sec yesterday are bowl eligible? And most not fans of the Sister Equals Cousin conference knew the PAC 12 was the best conference last year. They will again this year ;)

Bama has maybe the best coach in the history of Cfb who, unlike some coaches, seems to always take full advantage of the extra time to prepare. But their defense is suspect to say the least and does anyone think Sims can play at a level he needs to in order to win not once but twice in the playoffs? If saban pulls the rabbit out this year, it will be, IMO, the best coaching job of his career.
