This was the game Charlie circled early in the year to have as his biggest recruiting weekend. Had a lot of the top targets there. I wasn't crazy about having them in for this one. Shows what he knows and I don't.
And by all accounts, Boyd brothers are having a blast. I expect us to end up with both of them.
I know. The first one looked like the auburn guy "probably" had it first but can't reverse on probably. Plus, if you're too big of a nancy to hold on to it, don't deserve the ball anyway.
PS - hate the zone read call inside the 5 yard line. Almost as bad as A&M's play on 3rd down before the punt.
Can someone explain to me what they were reviewing on the last fumble? Some of these reviews are horrible. I thought the replay officials made right call on previous one too. Just no clue why even review unless the booth guys wanted to laugh at the auburn center a few more times.
Great win Ags!
Stadium has been as loud as I've heard it in a while. Really hoping we are not playing hang on for the whole 2nd half. Haven't seen many games this year where we've made the best ht adjustments.
I think he might just think he is. Can't imagine why he agreed to testify before the grand jury otherwise. He has the best of criminal attorneys (Lum Hawthorn) and can't imagine he was advised to.
Thinking the same thing. I can't remember the exact numbers but seems like that boston college 30 for 30 shown recently had those guys getting paid more than that by Henry hill 25-30 years ago.
Fwiw, I think Bob Wortham will be a fantastic DA for Jefferson County. And I don't think we've even seen the tip of the iceberg with BISD indictments. I heard Dr. Thomas spent the better part of a day this week with the grand jury. Should be interesting to say the least.
From a pretty reliable source - he threatened to kill this principal due to anticipated testimony by said principal in a criminal investigation/case. Don't be surprised to see criminal charge forthcoming based on these alleged threats.
I would love to see it too. I actually think it would be a competitive game and the ratings would be off the charts for a "toilet bowl" game. But Texas sits at 4-5 with Wva, osu, and tcu left on the schedule. Does anyone not agree that it's more likely they finish the year 4-8 than 6-6?
I think Weeden played well given what he can do. I wonder how men paid millions to make decisions in the nfl can watch colt and Weeden and determine Weeden is the guy. He's serviceable but incapable of a lot of what Colt gives you. I guess that's why they are the browns. And poor johnny football is next on the chopping block.
Wow. What a slate of games. The top 4 are elimination games and the bottom 3 could be if Baylor, Oregon or Auburn (tee hee) loses.
I am loving how this season has started a defacto tournament beginning Saturday. Say what you want but even with my team being hard to watch most Saturdays, this playoff system has made it the most compelling season in a decade.
