  1. But Kyle would be 3rd on my list out of the places I've been.
  2. Kyle Field crowds are great. I have not been there since the latest expansion. But based upon my experiences, LSU's Tiger Stadium and Ohio State's horseshoe are tougher venues to play.
  3. You can't continue to ride this wave in mediocrity. You can't push the SEC if you are a pretender in the conference. The biggest problem I see is still a defense that has no chance against anyone who is remotely potent on offense. You can't ask your offense to be perfect every game. Snyder has to go. We have joked about Mushchamp but I would hit him as hard as I could with the money stick in the offseason. He's been a disaster as a HC but the man can coach a defense. Ags have to get this fixed and fast. Otherwise they are going to be back where they were before, wondering where it all went wrong. #realtalk
  4. It's bad when you thoroughly out play a team and lose. That usually means you got outcoached. I'm not sure Big Baby Bobby outcoached Charlie, but Charlie sure didn't help his cause. And a lot of those penalties/timeouts were due to the players waiting on a play. Charlie may need to get Watson alone with a blow torch and pair of pliers and get this crap straightened out on the quick. Feel sorry for those boys today.
  5. That tweet is greatness. (And sadly it appears the core values haven't changed.)
  6. By the way, it is my opinion that if you combined the Aggies offense with the Texas defense, you would have a prohibitive favorite to win the NC. Combine the remaining two units on another team and you would have a prohibitive favorite to win a few games in the Southland Conference.
  7. This game appears to support the old adage that teams take on the personality of their coaches. The Texas players (particularly the defense) looks tough as nails and the OU players look whiny as hell...
  8.   aggy delusion at it's finest.  "Well of course we invented the thumbs up!!  That's why after we finish suing Seattle over the whole '12th man' thing, we will be suing the pants off of Fonzy!  Stop stealing our stuff America!!!!"
  9. I swear on all that is holy I almost typed "excluding nascar." 😂
  10. Most rednecks in an open air venue in the state of Texas?
  11. Aggies making suspensions on "no proof?" They suit em up when they show up pregame wiping coke boogers from their noses!!
  12. What is this indefinitely business anyway?? I thought the precedent set was one quarter against a rice-type opponent?
  13. Oh, and I thought the game immediately following our conversation was evidence of his point. Brown and gray ran more effectively against Baylor than any game all year.
  14. A ray of hope for the beat future. I spent about a half hour last Saturday chatting with a guy who played his last game with the Longhorns last season. He was a 4 year starter on the OL after being very highly recruited as a 5* recruit. He had some injuries but started most of the games over his 4 years of playing. Got his degree, found out the nfl probably wasn't in the cards for him and went back to West Texas working in the oil & gas industry. He told me that he expects to see the OL improve drastically this year and to see marked improvement each week. The minimal prior starts they had when thrown at byu was too much too overcome. He went in detail about reads and things you have to recognize at this level. He said without experience, you spend too much time thinking and not enough just playing. But he said this is a smart group that is picking it up very quickly. He also said that although he obviously never played for Coach Wick, he did play against his OLs for 4 years. He said that, coupled with talking to the guys and seeing them practice when he's in town (his gf still lives in ATX), leads him to believe that Wickline is as good an OL coach as there is in CFB. Take it for what it's worth but I have a lot of confidence in this guy. He was a very good one for the Horns and is exceptionally bright and cerebral when it comes to football. (And if horndawg had shown up at the tailgate I was going to make him arm wrestle this dude 💪
  15. If you come back, Mr. Buddy Garrity has agreed to be your personal butler for a weekend. Or that was told to me. By a friend of a friend of a friend who drops off his laundry. So come back. That seems to me to be a solid offer.
  16. Always comes back to the crabs. They do have medicine for that. Anyone in need should call Roper. He has a tube circa 1993.
  17. I think he meant more like "thanks for the bad news!" In a joking manner. I will also venture to read his mind and say he was grateful to Mack for sharing his endless Longhorn research with us. The kid does spend a lot of time studying an opponent that you are set to play theres ago...
  18. Also got the baby Hager kid who had committed to Baylor. Consensus is he's the best of the bunch (Britt's kids).
  19. When WNCIP posted this, I really thought about it hard for a while. I am convinced he would have been great at Nebraska 10-15 years ago. I just think he, like a lot of us, has lost some of his mojo over the past 5 or so years. And it is very hard to coach an elite program like Nebraska with a Twitter addiction.
  20. All jokes aside, I think this is a lot more important case than people realize. AP has the deep pockets to hire a gun like Rusty Hardin to fight the charges to the fullest. Unfortunately, looks like he is well on his way to screwing it up and handcuffing Hardin. It's an interesting issue that could have vast ramifications. But it's always the idiots who happen to have money who carry the flag, instead of Mr Smith next door who isn't an idiot but doesn't make $10M a year on his grind at the paper mill. I really thought he was going to fly that coop when he hired Hardin. Before he gets to trial, he might have tainted the whole dang jury pool by himself.
