I agree with pretty much all of this. Auburn, to me, is the biggest hurdle. Playing them on the road is always tough and gus malzahn is always tough to defend.
Amen. Ash devoted a lot of his time to the FCA in Austin. The guy that was (and maybe still is) running that group is from Orange. Said Ash is one of the most genuine, likable kids he's ever met.
7th place finish Lock-n-Load. Actually tied for 7th place. And enough with the division crap. They don't give trophies for winning that. The pathetic conference humping is enough without breaking it down further.
Team A - won a MNC in the last decade and played for another.
Team B - couldn't compete with Team A so ran to another conference so it could claim the achievements of its conference mates.
Team B fans are still entertaining.

See, the way football works is you're the champion until you're not. Actually, that's sports. They don't give out trophies or crystal footballs in September. So FSU is the champ until someone takes it from them this year, IF they do. Hth
Most years they drop at least one conference game though. Stanford, USC, and UCLA could certainly trip them up if they are off and Oregon state is always a battle. Washington is 4-0 but only beat Hawaii by 1 pt. Anyway, PAC 12 isn't a cakewalk and was, IMO, the best conference last year.
Leach made Sonny Cumby look like a stud.
As for your question, that's a good one. If they have trouble with Wazzu, can you imagine what a team with talent like A&M would do against that defense? Unless it was a complete off game, I would guess no. In fact, they won't make the playoffs if they don't play better than that - they could lose a couple of games before then.
We just miss the Missouri game each year. It was kind of like a second bye week. We just knew they couldn't compete against the mighty sec. 2-7 vs Texas in Big 12. Division championship 2nd year in the cupcake sec East.
