He just threw that thing up there. Pretty gross.

Staying healthy at that position was the biggest issue. Hopefully we will be able to do that next season.

Coach Brooks is adding some major pieces. Got a commitment from a juco all American PG earlier this week and will be announcing one from a 6-8 all American wing who is a terror on both ends of the court shortly. In addition, should have another commit from another PG, filling the team’s biggest need.

Literally all the teams I wanted lost. I guess Nova. I’m okay with Jay Wright.
-
Chet has the highest upside which is why he will be the number 1 pick with most teams. And highest upside of any player in a while. Jabari is the “surest thing” of any player. Barring injuries, I don’t see how he is not at minimum a very good and very possibly a great pro. If Auburn’s guards didn’t have a propensity to forget who the dude on their team was, they would still be playing. And Paolo is somewhere in between. Good news is that if you get a top 3 pick, you are going to get a #1 overall pick in 90 percent of drafts. Unlike years where there really aren’t any.

OUR Celtics sir…
-
Jabari is the “safest” top pick if you look at it from that perspective. He will go first if a couple of teams win the lotto. With most I think it is still Chet.
-
Chet will be an all star for many years. Banchero might too. But Chet will get bigger (KD couldn’t lift the garbage bag when he came into the league) and the things he does with the basketball at 7 foot plus are ridiculous.

I agree completely. Their other incoming freshman, Jarace Walker from IMG, played for Will Barton’s team in our league the last three summers. He’s a great kid with a ton of talent and is the top ranked PF in the country. I think he’s also the highest ranked recruit for the Coogs in a decade. All that said I like Arceneaux better. Especially in what Sampson does.
-
Agreed. Kelvin has always been great. What he’s done there is spectacular.
-
Idk, maybe it’s Chris Jans now. If his guys could have hit the broad side of the barn piggy would have gone home 2 rounds ago against a team that didn’t have nearly the amount of “dudes” arky has. So maybe Mississippi aggy now has the best coach in the SEC. And I would put Coach “I wanna be the coolest” above Cal either. Not by a long shot.
-
I don’t think it’s potentially. Junior will be playing in Houston and it ain’t gonna be with the Rockets.
-
You may be right. I hope the blue blood advances here. Musselman annoys the crap out of me for some reason. He wants to be Bruce Pearl when he grows up.

FIFY. (And Kam played HS at Seven Lakes until his sr year when he finished at Sunrise Christian.)

I’m with you King. Obligated to root for the U. McGusty is our last kid standing in the tourney. In this one anyway. Gig em Ags (gulp) for Hefner In the other one.

Whatchu talking about Willis? I’ll have you know Chester is the Duke of Northwest Tyler County basketball.

In all seriousness, I will say when we won the NIT a few years ago, we had no business in the big tourney. I am impressed with how hard A&M has played. A lot of times the best teams who get screwed by the committee mail it in during the NIT. Credit to Buzz for having this team still playing it’s best basketball. They clearly are out to prove a point. I hope they continue to do so.
-
A&M and OU both part of the first 5 out. The long arm of big brother…
-
Honestly they could and should win it all. I agree with you they could still be playing in the big dance.
-
I’m including the NIT in this thread. A&M playing well early in the quarters. Now give my guy Hef some quality minutes Buzz. He’s created more “buzz” for Aggie basketball than anyone since Caruso.

Is undefeated in conference play good? Having just finished hoops, we are familiar with the exact opposite of that. But in all seriousness, way to go Cards!

I think there was a core of 4-6 players that were really wanted back (I don’t think this includes walk ons, and walk ons certainly got more minutes than expected this year). For the most part, I expect the team to look a lot different next year, with some juco transfers contributing heavily from the outset.
