  1. Wow another list Rolling Stone butchered šŸ˜šŸ˜‰
  2. No but thatā€™s the term the kids are using these days šŸ˜‚. Well my kids anyway.
  3. Thatā€™s a really good win for the Dogs. I havenā€™t seen Manvel this year but the McDowell kid is a player. Iā€™m sure they have some decent pieces around him at least.
  4. For sure. I donā€™t know if it is possible to more competitive than this year but next season should have 4 really good playoff teams regardless.
  5. Not to mention a ref could slip. Some of the ones Iā€™ve seen in our area look to have ā€œvulnerable hipsā€ as wellā€¦
  6. I canā€™t get enough of him. Maybe itā€™s because Iā€™m an ā€œold headā€ as well, but I also love that he does his act without cursing every other word. There is still something to be said, in my book, for being a comedian who could do his act in church.
  7. Maybe itā€™s because we are country folk but this guy kills me.
  8. Dave Grohl, (mentioned by CB) who I personally think is as talented as anyone in todayā€™s music, has said in many interviews that itā€™s Prince and then you can argue after him. Itā€™s obviously just an opinion but I happen to share it. My favorite though is Claptonā€™s comment. When he was asked what it felt like to be the worldā€™s greatest guitarist he replied, ā€œI donā€™t know. Ask Prince.ā€
  9. Abso-freaking-lutely. Iā€™m not sure if the Prince show is even able to be topped. Thereā€™s a reason so many of the greats call him the most talented musician of all time. Because he was.
  10. You may be right. Honestly that was just a guess. Sometimes attitudes can be more devastating than what the talent brings. But it was just a guess. I was hoping with hi, walking off that OF caught a break (even though Huffman was pretty mediocre this year). Apparently not. HF is not short on talent even without that kid.
  11. What atmfan said. Congrats on the win and being at what appears to easily have been the best game of the night.
  12. Sounds like may have been addition by subtractionā€¦
  13. I think itā€™s more of a positional thing. Lamar had plenty of sub 6 foot 2-guards this year. Doesnā€™t work real well at that level. Brooks likes his PGs distributing the ball. He needs to go find some. To be honest this year, Adams was light years ahead of ALL the other guards at doing this. And he is actually a 2 who has the size to play and defend the position.
  14. meh, nothing a couple of stuff recruits from the south end canā€™t cure.
  15. Finish him! Was hoping the brooms were coming out tonight. The game I was most worried about was the one we dropped (once the Mustangs won last night).
  16. I hope youā€™re right. Itā€™s the inconsistency for me. The Stangs have trouble even stringing together two good games. But really hope they are turning the corner.
  17. Not a surprise. Bigger news is Adams announced he is coming back. That was big.
  18. Probably best not to broadcast it on this site. Just an unfortunate situation for the team and the kid, based on what I am told by sources I completely trust.
  19. I agree. This is a tougher matchup than last year, but I agree with you that , conversely, the Hawks wonā€™t be overlooking anyone this year. And I agree itā€™s a sad deal for HJ and the kid. We often say that sports mirror life; and sometimes neither is ā€œfair.ā€
  20. WOS vs HJ, only because HJ has had the great misfortune of being without their best player for the second year in a row for bi-district. I still like the Hawks, donā€™t get me wrong, but if that ā€œA gameā€ Mustang team decides to show up, this definitely could be an upset special.
  21. Yes heā€™s hurt. I agree all things considered. Had a 2 guard running the point with a walk on SF/PF backing him up at the point. The hits just keep on coming.
