  1. After further review, OU may indeed and in fact suck.
  2. Scheduling service on his Lambo for Monday.
  3. Amazing how often good things come from just hustling. (RIP Pete Rose)
  4. Must have been my grandmother.
  5. Definitely sounds like you chose well. All the Orange area teams were fortunate to escape with wins tonight (except for LCM who pulled away was able to separate in the 2h).
  6. Sounds like OF had some early, and CS late. I heard some chatter earlier that concerned me that some were thinking this game was going to be a breeze. Very fortunate to win this one. Coldspring is definitely a team that could win out in this district if they clean up some mistakes.
  7. Great article. Thanks for sharing bud.
  8. I will take the Cats, 28-7. Defense has been really stingy and the offense gets better weekly, as you would hope and expect with a new coach, new offense, and young QB. All of the above appear to be getting not only better, but more confident each week. On a related note, over/under on the amount of times the opponent is called "Coldsprings" in F.L. McClain Stadium on Friday night?
  9. Well I can relate and also take umbrage with those who continue to bash me and try to taint my legacy, even though itā€™s been years since I left this state. Signed, Mac Browne
  10. As his predecessor, the great DeLoss Dodds once said, ā€œWe are the Joneses.ā€
  11. I certainly wouldnā€™t wait until after Thanksgiving to give Elmo an extension. Gotta lock him down for the next 8-10 years right now.
  12. I agree. I was trying to say they are doing the best to make sure they arenā€™t fourth šŸ˜‰
  13. Kirbyville is killing it in that race šŸ˜‰
  14. Well, not EVERYONE but clearly smarter than most.
  15. Obviously BC is pretty good. Other than Manning breaking off a long run toward the end of the game, not many highlights. BC is bigger, stronger and faster than OF and has one of the best QBs in the area. That said, they also play in different classifications. And although Iā€™m not the biggest transitive guy, OF boat racing Hardin 59-zip who then plays EC to 28-22 the following week makes me wonder why people were shocked by the score last night. You can never overlook the East Chambers Buccaneers and Iā€™m sure the Bobcats wonā€™t. Coldspring is another team to watch in that district.
  16. And also not as athletic as Manningā€¦ (And I say that with zero idea if itā€™s actually true.)
  17. Manning kid has an FBS offer with a school rumored to soon be Power 5. Forget Anahuac, heā€™s probably the most athletically talented kid in the district.
  18. Absolutely. Still not used to you guys being in this district. Realignment is hell on us old guys!
  19. Letā€™s not get it twisted. This district still runs through Orangefield. And they donā€™t even need Beaumont recruits to do it šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø
  20. Me too. I think both of those teams are better than a lot of us thought, which is nice to see (rooting for both).
  21. After Hardin played EC close last night after absolutely getting Molly-wopped last week by the Bobcats, this shouldnā€™t be a compete shocker. Orangefield is pretty dang good and are far from alone in getting handled by BC.
