sigh....I have had this discussion on this forum before, but here I go again. Mr. Carson was able to survive his childhood because his mother received food stamps and other forms of government assistance. (He might've starved to death if she didn't have access to these programs.) He said that his grades improved dramatically because of a government program that allowed him to get free glasses YET he now opposes government programs that assist the poor. That is hypocritical. :(

what about white people who get jobs that they are unqualified for just becsuse they are white? I worked at a place where every black nurse had a bachelor's degree and our supervisor who was not that bright only had an associates. She didnt know anything ; hence, no one respected her.

My dad was allowed to test for a job in the 1960s. He made the highest grade on the test and got a really good paying job. He would not have gotten that opportunity otherwise.
