  1. Bass start moving in as early as late January and as late as April. The bigger bass will usually spawn earlier, but some will go up during the later waves. As for Rayburn being so low, what they are doing is they allowing for grass to grow in the shallow areas and then the water will rise back up to the normal levels to where are the new grass has grown. By doing this, it allows bait fish to feed on the grass and have protection and the bass have food to eat on while spawning. It might seem pointless at the beginning, but later on it will benifit.
  2. Alright man....I am from warren and I will probably see you play Warren in basketball. Don't let your friends get other people mad at you.
  3. First, Deavers is the best player around here at this moment. He is a super 18 which is a pretty hard thing to accomplish. I mean qualifing for champ 18 is pretty hard. Next, I have never heard of this Kevin Darling kid. I haven't seen him in any of the champ tournaments or in the ZAT tournaments. If you are not playing USTA events then you have very little chance of competing in high school tournaments. Last, there are a lot of good kids in the Beaumont area that will be competing for championship match. There are more people than just Deavers. Here is a list of all the kids right now that are going to be the competition this year. Sorry if I leave a person out or mispell. 1. Mathew Deavers-Super 18 2. Sagar-Super 18 or Champ 18 not sure 3. Cody (Bug) Luttrell-Super 16 4. Lane Heer-Super 16 or Champ 16 not sure 5. Scott Carnley-Champ 18 6. Kenton Boone-Champ 18 7. Clement Wehner-Champ 18 8. Brad Lagoto-Champ 18 * In the Lamar tournament there will two more kids from Fostor High School in Richmond who will be Champ 16 or 18. So there is 10 players who are in Champs or better and then you have a few high ranked ZAT players. There is so much you need to learn B.C. V-Torian about tennis. There is a whole other world of tennis outside of just high school called USTA and if you aren't playing in the USTAs, then you have very little shot of making it deep into tournaments. Sorry. Just because he can serve 100 doesn't mean he will win. I will barely break out a 80 mph serve, but my serve is still a weapon to me.
  4. Sorry about that...I meant the kid from K-Ville...there is no way he will win state. As far as I know there is not a player from K-Ville at this moment even a champ or even playing in the ZATs. Like I said there is no way he will even get out district, because Deavers will win every match 6-0 6-0, but I don't know who will take second, if the kid from H-F plays singles than he will win, I just can't think of his name of the top of my head. I have played with him and he is the only other kid from 3AAA that I have heard of. Sorry
  5. Ya, but can he serve fast consistant.....thats like a baseball pitcher could throw the ball 110 mph, but if he can't hit the catcher, what good is he. As for the kid from Silsbe winning state. I highly doubt it, because Deavers is a great player and he lost in the Semis of State.
  6. Doubles want even be worth talking about because one team is going to sweep
  7. Doubles will go to the Kelly team. Whoever they team up this year....most likely will sweep. If it is Bug and Kenton, Bug and Clement, or Kenton and Clement. Whatever combinations...their going to win. Doubles are going to be cake this year.
  8. Ya...I played tennis last year and the tennis forum section got really argumenative last year. There was a lot of argueing between the Warren boy and everybody else. This year it won't be that bad...hopefully.
  9. Yes Matt Deavers did win the tournament and yes that does qualify him for Super 18's. Right now if I am not mistaking that makes 3 supers in the beaumont area and five champs. Sorry if I am wrong. High school tournaments are going to be hard this year if you are playing singles. There are 16 players draws and you have Devers, Sagar, Boone, Lagato, Bug, Wehner, Carnley, Lane. You have also have Nolan(HF), Jude Lane. Just getting to the semis is going to be hard. Good luck to everybody. :)
  10. Tiffany Weise from the might fighint Warren Warriors is the BEST softball player by far. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.
  11. The only two freshman that I know that won state as a freshman and will all four years were: Austin Klores from Franklin won state as a freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and will win his senior year. Brittany Faucet(didn't know how to spell it) she is fromWynona and won state as a freshman, sophomore and will probably win her junior and senior year. Both are in 2A, but don't think they would be pushovers in bigger divisions. Austen Klores would probably win 3A and 4A state. Brittany on the other hand would probably have a chance at 3A. Austin is a top 100 National player and like top 10 Super 18. I don't know Brittany's rank
  12. If he is in 5A, he has no chance of winning, 4A, again no chance of winning. As for 3A, nope, 2A, not a chance. I don't know anything about 1A, but I don't think he is 1A. Just a fast serve won't win you state, you can't serve all the time. SORRY
  13. None of the doubles teams around here this year could never touch the two doubles teams of last years. Not trying to be rude. Hopefully the team from HJ does good though.
  14. I would have to agree that Kelly has the deepest line-up of kids, with 2 champ 18's and 1 champ 16, but after that, pretty much no one
  15. I bet they lose first round in regionals No offense
  16. UT # 1(Brandon Sims) SHUT UP
  17. Ok....everybody needs to tone it down on the trash talking. ETA is a great place to go if you live around the Beaumont area. The Beaumont area is probaly at its best right now producing pretty good players on both boys and girls sides....alot from ETA. I mean Sagar and Deavers don't go there but, alot of the next ranking guys do like: Boone, Wehner, Bug, Herr, & etc. Probaly everybody knows who I am (Scott Carnley) and I love going to ETA....I mean Tony is great coach. Also, I don't have anybody at my level to hit with besides Tyler and I can never find him, so when I get to go to ETA I take it. I'M not one of the regulars but I will consider one of myselfs as partially one of the ETA kids. So everybody quit bashing Tony and ETA. He has a great thing going. As for everybody bashing Wehner....He is a great player. He qualified for champ 18's which is extremely hard because zatt 18's is made up of alot of champ 16 kids that aged up. So again, quit bashing him.
  18. Scott did play Bug in like one of those stupid grand prix tournaments where like you play a total of 7 games. It was stupid and that was when Bug just started playing tennis. He had not been playing very long, but Bug has become a very great player in short period of time. He was a 14 super and now is a 16 champ and I will thinkg he will do exceptionally well.
  19. I am telling you this....the new player to watch out for is Lane Herr. Right now he is a 14 super, but omg can he play. You think of 14s being soft and squishy, but again he can play. So watch out for this kid
  20. If bug is making the semis of these 14 super tournaments, then wouldn't he still be a super in the 16's.
  21. This is Kenton Boone
  22. Scott hasn't played like a real tournament in like 4 months....he was busy with regionals and state, he has not had time to play a tournament. He did play in the Woodlands tournament where he placed second....He won the the first set 6-0. His opponent played nothing but defense and like a idiot Scott tried to hit a winner on every shot and ended up losing in the finals. Scott is playing in the Pasedena ZAT and only needs 3 wins to qualify.
