I think we are going to be surprised Friday. A long trip on a nice bus. Playoff atmosphere. The want to ruin Texas High's parade. Focus guys, focus.

It seems the offense has progressed. The Defense needs to step up. I say, let's use some players both ways. I don't like it but hey, you do what you have to do.

The dogs were in some kind of flex defense late Friday night or early Saturday morning. I kind of agree with spider, have one or two guys going both ways this Friday, may be a solution in the secondary.

These types of playoff games have almost always depended on the start for teams like Nederland. They have to be prepared and get off to a good start. Mistakes and penalties can’t happen. If Thomas and Sunday step up, it will be a W. You got this Dogs!

Congratulations Dogs. I couldn’t get a good reception to get a good feel of the game but it seems yall fought till the end. Bad calls, too many penalties and no defense at the end. A very long and rainy night was probably the answer to most of these issues. It was two teams battling hard. Play your game next week and you’ll be a winner.

I think 4 down linemen is what we need.

Nederland didn’t get better tonight!

It’s all on the coaches and special teams tonight. Not prepared. Stop the run is all the defense had to do. We had 3 down lineman all night. I’m not a defensive guru but, tell me if I’m wrong. Huntsville seamed to do pretty good with 4 on the line. I will say this for the dogs, they didn’t give up.

If this Nederland team wins tonight with a little authority, it will tell me they are ready to make a deep run and this is not a fluke. They have ceased to amaze me.

It’s been so long since I’ve uttered the words, deep playoff, I can’t speak with any knowledge or certainty. 😀

This game is on Coach Rich. Keep the guys focused on this game, not the last game, not the next game. Then enjoy the win.

Ok dogs just play this game like all the rest. Getting better every week is what I've seen and is what you guys need to do. The mistakes are getting fewer, and the focus is getting better. A lot of running in the first half. Whoever is behind will start passing and slow the game down. If our line can open a hole 24" wide, then "that's all she wrote".

I expected Nederland to turn it around. Not quite this quick though. Bridge City was the overachiever for me.

The Dogs have improved every week. The main issue that needs to be resolved is the mistakes and that’s what it’s going to take. There is no one on the face of the earth that can predict this game, but I can say this, who ever scores last usually has a grin on their face.
