I agree one hundred percent. Jacob Walton nevers lets the kids quit, and always pushes them to their limits, as you have seen this season. He will be a great coach in the future, and definatly deserves props for this year's success. WB started slow(loss to Ozen), but finished very strong winning their last ten games, and it's all due to the superb coaching of Jacob Walton. Thanks and keep up the good work. Bruins state bound baby!!!

Not to take anything away from Roebuck, but he got hosed by Seth hill In the early innings trying to steal second. Also, if HJ doesn't make baserunning mistakes, they win three to nothing...just something to think about.

West Brook wins first two games to advance to the next round. Look for the pitching to really step it up for the bruins this week, and as long as the hitters keep doing what they have been doing WB will be fine.

Now you see how WB feels, and they are the hometown!!! If The Enterprise is the "regional" paper that they claim to be, then they should act like it and cover all big games, especially if they had a pregame writeup on it. And by the way, WB wins district and who would know it besides the people on this great website.

In only his second year as head caoch, jacob Walton has done a great job at the Brook, bringing the Bruins to a district championship after a relatively slow start tto their season. Yes, coach Walton has reaaly impressd me out at WB with great coaching instincts, always making the right decision when it counts. I hope he continues to be at WB for many years to come.

I'll throw in Silsbee and WB as well....Two very good teams that have a chance to go very deep in the playoffs this year.

WB started a sophmore that is currently on JV against Jasper, and it was a scrimmage. WB also beat LCM 25-2 in a scrimmage, but that doesn't mean LCM is that much worse than WB. At scrimmages you try players out, and see who is going to be productive for the upcoming season. That is exactly what they did, while Jasper played their strting nine the entire time. WB even let the srorekeeper bat in that exhibition.

WB has more fans at away games than the home team.....gotta say WB fans are the greatest. WB's dugout adds about 6-7 more voices as well, those kids are crazy.
