Please tell me why you think there are crybabies at the Brook. As far as I can tell, no one has shed a tear yet down in Bruin Country. And when you say a team like that, What do you mean? probably that WB would destroy all competition around I'm guessing.

I'll also go all in with the Brook on this one. I have the bruins 12-2 after five with Ferguson, Murphy, Serna, and Armstrong all hitting bombs to lead the West Brook squad to another solid victory and keep them in the district title hunt.

I agree. After all, it is the "Beaumont" entreprise. They could atleast have a short writeup on the WB game. Geeeeez, their killin me with all these pop werner league game frontpage news stories. WB vs Kingwood was game of the week in the Houston area, yet the Enterprise covers a 4a baseball game, that does mean alot to PNG and LCM, but the enterprise has got to see what is right in front of them and give credit where credit is due. Hey ABCD, it's not ecscalade, it's escalate, and yes it did escalate quickly.People need to get their panties out of the huge knot they are in just because they are jealous that WB produces more quality players than any other school in the area, and they know that they CANT compete with the mighty bruins.

Calm down people. I only made the statement about the size of the schools to emphasize the fact that it is a heck of a lot harder to make all district at a 5a school than at one of a lower class.. My point is that if these other kids went and played at West Brook I promise you they woud not start in the infield. Not only is WB's middle unbelievable, but their corners are very strong also, consisting of Lycan at third and Serna at first.

West brook has two very important must win games coming up this week. The first is against Kingwood and the second is Baytown Lee. To stay in the hunt for district title, these games have got to be wins for the bruins.

This is ridiculous!!! There is no way anyone in the area is better than the two studs from West Brook. Both Murphy and Ferguson of West Brook have signed to D1 colleges, and both were 1st team all district last year in a 5a school, unlike the 3a schools with about 26 seniors in their graduating calss. They are both great young men on and off the field and continue to impress me everytime I watch them play. Ferguson plays while he's sick, and Murphy hits a bomb every other at bat. The WB pitching staff is very lucky to have such a solid defense behind them, although when Josiah Svoboda pitches I don't know why the defense goes out on the field after the last two starts from this young man.

What will the final score be? I have Kingwood getting beat 7-0.

I am not from BC and have seen both of these young men play many times. In my opinion, and also in LSU's opinion, Dishon is the better centerfielder. If Calhoun is soooooo great, then why hasn't he signed anywhere yet. I'm sorry, but if you are the best centerfielder in all of SETX, then you would have signed to a college by now. He is obviously not as good as Dishon, or Armstrong.

That's weird, if calhoun is such a better outfielder than Dishon, then why hasn't any other college recruited him? Not saying Calhoun isn't good, I'm just saying that he will never be the centerfielder that Dishon is, and for that matter, I don't think that he is as good as Armstrong of West Brook either.Oh, and by the way, college is not a poll, it is the next step of baseball cats80. Think before you speak or don't speak at all.

Bobby Amstrong for WB. Hea has great speed, a great arm(92 from the outfield), and a very hot bat , winning player of the week honors last week.
