  1. Who is the best up the middle guy in SETX? My vote goes to either David Murphy or Tim Ferguson, both of West Brook.
  2. jay bruce from WB high School is definately the most recriuted player in recent history from SE Texas. There were always about 30-40 scouts at every game, and atleast ten at all practices.
  3. Made this to clear out the previous homeruns topic. West Brook Murphy, Senior: 7 Wallace, Junior:6 Ferguson, Senior :4 Serna, Senior: 4 Lycan, junior: 2 Armstrong, Senior:1 Fisher, Senior: 1 Total: 25 :o
  4. No doubt they can be beaten...by any west end little league baseball team. Who cares how the Buna coog's are doing.
  5. TODD WALLACE...HANDS DOWN! This junior from WB is 8 for 11 with five homeruns the last four games. What else can you ask for.
  6. What will the final outcome of the ballgame be?
  7. That's funny. PNG rocked Strerling's "#1". I bet Sterling's "superb" defense made zero errors that game too. Nothing but hits for the mighty indians.HA. Give me a break. The reservation couldn't hit a bleedin elephant in the snow with a shotgun.
  8. great job. Player of the week could have went either way between Armstrong and Wallace.
  9. Good for Memorial. Way to bring down a giant based on history.
  10. Good call ABCD. I heard Wallace hit another bomb tonight, and Murphy had another great game...but what's new?
  11. Anything by Metallica.
  12. Yes, Josiah did miss his spots a couple of times tonight...but I guess that's where the two hits came from Donke.
  13. If Chris Bell doesn't start hitting the ball better, HF will find themselves in big trouble!!!
  14. How did Sterling and Atascasita do?
  15. WB has atleast ten runs in their last five games.
  16. When will the final selections be made?
  17. Thanx MIF04. I was really was wondering how the rankings worked. Now I know. A little trash talk can't hurt either. :
  18. You guys still haven't answered my question. How do the rankings work? I'm confused,If you beat a team, and get ranked lower than them, what do you have to do, take out their starting pitcher with your bullpen fence. oh yeah, that already happened.
  19. Geeeeeez laweeeeeeeeeez, who played here, the new york yankees? Give it a rest people the game is over and done with. No matter what you think or say will ever change the outcome of the ball game. Lets move on.
  20. I applaud you once again ABCD 14, Todd Wallace is the best catcher in the area...hands down. He has got player of the week once already, and might make it fr the second time in a row after his performance last week.
  21. What do rankings work like then, if you beat someone, and get ranked higher lower than them?
  22. I applaud you ABCD 14 on your prediction. I was thinking the same, with WB's starter throwing a great game for the bruins. I expect him to only throw five innings though b/c the ten run rule will come into play. If Murphy and Serna hit like they have been, this shouldn't be a problem for the mighty West Brook Bruins.
  23. Schooling gave up way too many runs to even be considered for pitcher of the week. If you throw a no no a don't get pitcher of the week, something is very wrong. I'm not hearing anything about how good Central is lately either like at the begginning of the year. Think about it, a no hitter is not giving up a texas leaguer, a slow roller, anything to anyone for seven innings. Central or not, a no hitter is a no hitter. And don't forget, Central's leadoff hitter was hitter of the week a couple of weeks ago, so it's not like Central is a team full of benchwarmers. Great job Flores!
  24. What will the final score be at this game? ???
  25. I know that if the pitcher lets the runner get a great jump, it is very hard to throw someone out. But that isn't always the case every single time someone tries to steal a base, especially at the High School level. With this in mind, baserunners in se texas will often steal a base based on nothing more than the catcher's throw down to second in between innings. No matter if the pitcher is quick to the plate, throws 92 mph, or is consistent with a 55 mph knuckle. Just my opinion, nothing more.
