District 21-6A mock according to Texas_HS_Sports -Bmt United -Bmt West Brook -Cleveland -Humble -Humble Atascocita -Humble Kingwood -Humble Summer Creek -New Caney -New Caney Porter District 22-6A -Channelview -Deer Park -North Shore -Pasadena -Dobie -Sam Rayburn -South Houston -Pasadena Memorial (Note: I've heard there's a chance that Pasadena & SoHo could submit numbers that put them in 5A D1. No idea if they'd be forced to opt up, but it would be intriguing to see how that would affect everything)/ CE King goes to District 18 with all the 6A HISD schools.

I just saw the TX HS sports projection. Selfishly, I want them to switch North Shore and Channelview to District 21 and move the two Beaumont schools to District 22 lol. But generally speaking, those look like solid projections. CE King to the HISD district? Sheesh

I've made 25 high school football games this year!!!
dBerrySports replied to lcm93's topic in High School Football
I count at least 14 I've been to in the regular season (10 coaching/4 either scouting or as a fan). I might be missing a game or two on the fan side. -
If anyone has the 6A mock realignment districts, particularly the Houston/SETX area districts, and can share, that would be cool lol. If no one does, no biggie, but a thank you if you do.

Sorry, that wasn't meant to be serious. That was a reference to when Barbers Hill beat FB Marshall in the first round and a Crosby fan said that it was because of Marshall's weak non-district schedule.
-
I got no dog in the 5A D2 fight, but I want to see SOC win just to see a big city ISD win a title. They clearly have the talent, but still have to do it for three more games. If only Aledo hadn't played that weak non-district schedule...

Fort Bend Marshall 21 Barbers Hill 42/FINAL
dBerrySports replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
lol, those games were so early in the season that it would have had little to nothing to do with how they played this game. They just got outplayed. If FB Marshall and Barbers Hill played again next week, I'd still pick Marshall. But on that night, BH was better. -

I mean I guess, but what could Marshall do about their schedule? Outside of the first two games. -

Happy Snapshot Day to You and Your's
dBerrySports replied to scat_trap's topic in High School Football
I mean, the Highland Park +5 thing is mostly in jest from me, but the whole landlocked and can't grow if they want to... Is literally how HP wants it to be. You think they couldn't open up and take kids from those surrounding areas if they wanted to? But... they don't want to. I could be wrong, but I believe I read a story awhile back about some apartment complexes being built next to HP and some of those students possibly being zoned for HPISD, but the city said no. Highland Park landlocked itself, it's literally in the middle of Dallas but wants nothing to do with the rest of the city of Dallas, especially the schooling. -

While I think you should be right, I'll believe it when I see it. -

Everything I see jokes that the 5A/6A cutoff will be Highland Park +5 lol -
Deer park 49 Pasadena dobie 28 final !!
dBerrySports replied to lcm93's topic in High School Football
That was no fluke. I was at the game for the first half before my eyes just got too heavy, but DP was the better team for the balance of the game. They were more physical and Dobie didn't respond well to it. Dobie's defense has allowed 48 or more points in 3 of their last 4 games. 22-6A is Deer Park's to lose. -

Congrats! I think Lamar needs him right now lol -
What is going on with Huntsville?
dBerrySports replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in High School Football
Nah. But the run of having a District MVP game changer of a defensive player has. And FWIW, I heard there was a controversial ending to the Rudder game and that Huntsville should have won in OT. Won't change anything now but that's tough if true. -
5AD2 #5 A&M Consolidated loses to Willis 17-24
dBerrySports replied to Cougtalk's topic in High School Football
Maybe, but they did beat Desoto to start the season, so they aren't weak either. -
First loss for Allen in that stadium since it opened, that's crazy. I want to say I feel bad for Cedar Hill next week... and I still kind of do. But now I think it'll be a little closer than I initially did.

Week 2 Other 6A/Post updates here
dBerrySports replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
Allen got pushed by Plano East last week, then got housed by Atascocita tonight... They host Cedar Hill next week. I think Allen wins that game, but they definitely don't have that invincible feel that you tend to expect from them. -
Pasadena Memorial 14 Baytown Sterling 27/ FINAL
dBerrySports replied to Aggieswife's topic in High School Football
You're talking about Dallas area schools, and you're right on them, but what Irving, Garland, Mesquite? And then how many Houston area district are doing that? Idk what the rose tinted glasses are that I'm using, I just don't think it's necessary for you to take a shot at a group of people when there are plenty of school districts struggling in football (Aldine, Alief, among others). -
Texas: a step in the right direction

Therein lies the problem. You don't care about women's rights to their own bodies. I'm not even trying to convince you the other way to be honest, you just admitted yourself that you don't care. -

They're in a ridiculous district at the top. They have a bit of talent, but no depth and they're not coached that well either. -
Lancaster 7 Port Arthur Memorial 27/ FINAL
dBerrySports replied to Aggieswife's topic in High School Football
One of them went back to Lancaster and I hadn't realized it, so I'll take the L on that one. It's an impressive victory no doubt, I don't want to say that it's not. And yeah, I was partially incorrect lol so I will sit back and give PA it's just due. -

The majority of multi school districts also don't have nearly the resources that some of those single school districts do for football. Their own stadium, indoor facility, massive weightrooms, multiple athletic periods, if they have athletic periods at all, stuff that have nothing to do with being Hispanic. You say you want to be upfront and honest but it just seemed like going out of your way to take a gratuitous shot at two programs doing their best with what they are given.
