  1. Former Waco Midway head coach Terry Gambill. So now Waco Midway and Temple have openings.
  2. There's a Miami coach in New Orleans today, wouldn't surprise me if he stopped by Beaumont to see Whaley too. At least to see if they have a shot bc of the Mark Richt factor.
  3. Last year they had kids from McAllen playing in the game for SETX. At least the unis looked better this year.
  4. Wow, home run hire for Barbers Hill. He must be ready for a new challenge. And BH has some great facilities. Congrats to the Eagles!
  5. I think he either transfers or stays at Bama focusing on track. But yeah he can't see light from how far back he is in Saban's doghouse.
  6. Aw man. That sucks. Still looks like Central is doing well for themselves.
  7. Is the Sodom kid playing for Central yet?
  8. Being a Canes fan, I'd love to see Whaley down in Coral Gables!
  9. Congrats to Nijal. Great player and even better person. Another athlete I had the honor of covering. I hope the Jags can do some damage this season!
  10. What happened to coach Henderson?
  11. She's a steal at Division II. No reason she shouldn't be pitching for a D1 program.
  12. April 21, Blake Lane (PNG) solo HR vs Nederland
  13. Michael Hughes is a senior
  14. Michael Hughes, PN-G 3-run HR vs. Nederland First game he's played since he tore his ACL during football season
  15. Lane Millican, Sr., Lumberton 2-run HR vs. PN-G this evening
  16. Best I've seen so far are Parquet then Sneed
  17. I think that Abdullah will have different linebackers on him depending on where he is in the formation. If he's in the backfield, Perryman will be on him. If AA ends up in the slot, they could use Jermaine Grace on him because he has a little better speed to keep up with him in routes down the field.   I hope Coley opens up the playbook, but I doubt Nebraska will be as oblivious to the deep ball as Arkansas State was. Defensively, this will provide the greatest test for Miami all season until Florida State. AA is the best individual offensive player outside of Jameis that Miami will see in my opinion.
  18. Duke is healthy and about 15 lbs bigger now. Idk if Yearby will be better, but I think he'll be real good. And Gus Edwards provides a nice change of pace.   I'm excited to see Kaaya perform. I don't think Golden would have made him the starter if he didn't at least think he could handle it. Now whether he actually does or not, we will have to see...
  19. Thursday- Kirbyville vs. Cleveland @ Provost Umphrey Stadium Friday- West Orange-Stark @ Little Cypress-Mauriceville
  20. Does anyone know when they practice? I'm trying to get out there but haven't been able to reach Coach Babin. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it.
