That's what we normally have too but my workgroup runs a software program that requires us to use a 30" screens as the main display. I think I was supposed to turn the other one back in to IT but my boss never said anything so now it's basically dedicated to SETX or streaming MSNBC during the day.

Kid is nasty in the return game and BH's most dynamic weapon on offense. Single-handedly kept BH in the game with Crosby for a while with his big play ability.

I didn't realize they had basements in this part of Texas with the water table being so high? Either I don't have a job or I have a real good one that allows me to have three computer screens on my desk. Dang man, they're averaging 53 points per game and giving up 10.5 points per game in all their contest besides Crosby. Whatever you may think of their strength of schedule they've absolutely destroyed all the teams they're supposed to. Including a Vidor squad who beat the Ned team you guys struggled with and could've lost to. Don't get me wrong, BH is still BH right now and if you punch them in the mouth they have a hard time responding but to say they're terrible is to take an even bigger shot at Dayton with the state they're in right now.

The one thing I think that is hindering Dayton's offense more than anything is the play from the qb position. What each of the kids does it too predictable and easy to stop a lot of the time. #4 isn't a running threat and looked like he was on the verge of getting put out of the game against NC due to his small stature, and #8 isn't a passing threat limits Dayton's best position group which is their receivers. Dayton is going to have to manufacture points against BH with good special teams play and turnovers, even though Dayton has the better athletes I don't think their staff will be able to out-scheme BH's. BH fans at my job are nervous though, saying Dayton is "due". By far the most meaningful game in the district to date.

Vidor is 77-95 under Mathews the 17 years before the season started. In those 17 years he does have one career bi-district win against Crosby. Of all the coaches I looked at in this classification he has the lowest win percentage of any to coach 100 or more games at said school. Long way from Gary Joseph, or for that matter Fairclothe. Hard to really find stats on a program that's not recognized.

How does it feel to be exposed for voting your team above BH even though they have the same record and beat you by 5 tds in your own house? I never did to start with but now other people won't take you seriously. Vidor gonna' Vidor though.

Every team we played so far tried to run the ball against us except Porter. I would put the number close to 125 rushing attempts to gain those 350 yards. Quite a bit more rushing attempts against us than pass attempts. Port Lavaca runs the same offense as Vidor does and runs it a heck of a lot better and with more talent, their fans said the same thing about their "smash-mouth" style against Crosby. It was 30-0 at halftime and Crosby ended up beating them worse than any team that year even though they were in a district with Angleton, George Ranch and Foster. You guys just struggled with Nederland and they didn't even use their ineligible player against y'all. As far as Porter, it was only a matter of time before things fell into place for them. They have the largest and nicest school in the district, they play in the best facility in the district and now they have a coach who when at KP was beating state ranked CE King. After finishing 4th that year he also beat district champ Ned in the first round. He caught Crosby going through some stuff and made us pay just like he did King for looking past them, a King squad whose qb went to Tulane and whose rb is leading A&M in rushing as a true freshman. Now he has better players instead of just having one stud like Jaylen Henderson. The main goal at the beginning of the season was for Crosby to find a way into the D2 playoffs, a loss to Porter has done that.

You're just new, stay on the board and you'll start to understand. Vidor has a place in the hierarchy of Texas High School football, sometimes they need to be reminded of it.

Why would we have trouble stopping Vidor? Because we have trouble stopping the run? BH didn't have any trouble at all stopping Vidor and we ran through them with a backup qb. Vidor probably hasn't completed 5 total passes this season, that often translates into not being able to cover it either. The one time they played a team that could throw it around the yard they were embarrassed. Vidor has played one good offense and four bad ones, don't mistake that for thinking your boys have more than they really do. You don't need big bucks from industry to have nice stuff, you just need an administration and community that want to provide it for their students.

No, Crosby couldn't believe we were playing so bad. Vidor ran for 306 on 67 carries on Crosby and ended with the same total yardage, Crosby ran for 283 on 31 carries and added 140 passing. It was the 100+ yards in penalties, the turnovers and muffed kicks deep in our own territory that made the difference. Vidor probably had one run over 10 yards the whole game, I also told several of you five years ago that it would be your only bi-district win for a long time and it most certainly was. Congrats though, y'all are the only squad to win a bi-district game against Crosby the last 8 years. After Lumberton ran the ball down y'alls throat to the tune of 425 yards, ask them what it was like to be down 35-0 at halftime. Trust me man, this ain't Flannigan's Crosby.

Me speculating that he knowingly stepped into a gray area after all the years of experience as a head coach is drawing a straight line between two points. Believe whatever you need to to make yourself feel good though, it's always better to act like you didn't know instead of admitting you intentionally broke any rules.

Lol, Porter threw for 400+ yards on Crosby, Vidor can't complete a forward pass. Crosby has probably only given up 350 rushing yards on the season after four games. Porter has a new coach and better players than Vidor, BH already showed Vidor that you can't handle that this year. You proved you're ignorant about Crosby football if you think kids like Tay'lor Perry or Johnny Harper won't come downhill and end your season or a kid like Trey Edwards won't run you slap over from the receiver position. You're right though, five years ago when Kevin Flannigan was coaching here and we didn't have any of the current kids on the team Vidor beat a 6-4 Crosby team with the sophomore Twins for their first and only bi-district win in 54 years. That coach was fired and hired at WB, well see if Matthews can even keep his team on the field with Riordan at the helm. He couldn't with BH before we blew them out.

The only speculation is will or won't Nederland have to forfeit. The other stuff has already been reported by different outlets. I said he took a desperate measure to not do something like lose to Vidor at home for the first time in a few decades, I don't ever think he had the intention of being investigated by the UIL.

I wouldn't call going into overtime and winning by three getting smoked but if it suits your narrative then ok, just remember those studs we were missing will be playing. Be for real though dude, you lost by 5 tds at home and just had to go to overtime to beat a bad Nederland team. A Nederland team that lost to 2-3 Dayton and was shut out 42-0 by WOS. Jim Holley would do the same thing to Vidor Westeberg did. Nobody wants to play y'all because you suck and are irrelevant, the only reason BH put y'all on the schedule was because they needed an easy win for the new head coach to start his program off and that's exactly what happened. Vidor gets crap games because your program is a cellar dweller and you run an antiquated system that doesn't prepare anybody for anything besides getting their knees cut all the time. Do you honestly think the reason the best non-district game you can get is Channelview because somebody is scared to line up with y'all? You play 3A, 4A and out of state schools because none of the other good teams in the state respect your program enough to think it's worth their while. I don't have to ask our school board anything, maybe you should ask yours to provide a playing surface that won't require a grown up Easter egg hunt for their children's shoes though.

If all three teams finish 4-4 it really wouldn't matter who beat who. If I remember correctly the forfeit rules are 2-0 win for Livingston. Nederland can beat Central by a td which would make them -2 + +7 for a total of +5 differential. If Central also blows out Livingston it would be -7 + +17(max I believe) for a differential of +10 and Ned stays home.

Not very difficult, Barbers Hill beat them by 5 tds before we blew them out. I think PAM at least equals what BH did to them.

Concrete fact #1 - This is a Crosby thread. Concrete fact #2 - Nederland is under investigation by the UIL. Concrete fact #3 - Crosby isn't. Concrete fact #4 - Neumann didn't play the kid in question due to the investigation. Opinion #1 - If he knows he didn't do anything wrong why not continue to play the kid? Concrete fact #5 - Crosby is know for handling their business which is why we led off the state's post-game show when we didn't. Butt hurt? If anybody's butt hurts it should be Nederland's after losing 42-0 to a 4A squad and probably having to forfeit a game they won by 42 with illegal players. That's what I call the truth, no arbitrary conclusion in that one.

No way he didn't know. As so many of his fans love to acknowledge, he's been around a long time so this was far from his first rodeo dealing with this type of situation. I personally think his arrogance led to the decision to play the kid, kind of like "This is what I'm doing and the rest of you revere me so much you won't say anything". IDK if the PAP was signed or not, but if it wasn't he should be aware that he has to get the kid through the district executive committee before the kid can even take a snap. We had kids go to Crosby for a whole semester only to get ruled ineligible by the UIL in Austin after being denied participation by the DEC. Nothing weird about it stat, Neumann couldn't handle getting his arse kicked so he took desperate measures. Compared to our case this one is pretty cut and dried.

Really man? GCM is about to go 0-10 or 1-9 this year. You sound like a Dayton fan, all excited about the new coach only to watch him come in and double the previous season's loss record.
