Seriously, they've already run a fake punt too?
-
They're down two tds at home to a squad that's already lost by five tds, looks to me like they do have to do it this week. At least BH waited until the second half to try it on us.
-
Not really a shock to me.
-
Wow, Central is running onside kicks in the second quarter?
-
Man, I was going to have a different response but after looking back through 11 pages of post I can't find anything you said that was correct. After you ate me for lunch and spit me back out????? What in the world are you talking about????? Don't take me serious, but you've been a joke, just like your team. I could care less about losing to what's probably the best team in the state, your dumb arse is the one that's 50+ points off on your two Crosby predictions. You keep trying to say somebody is asinine because I'm assuming that's the only three syllable word BISD taught, yet you're so stupid you try to compare a loss to Manvel to anything in the hemisphere having to with Central. Better hope y'all get Babers Hill and have a chance. Keep thinking wins against Nederland and PNG will prepare you to get your head beat in.

In backup duty Crosby sophomore qb Jaiden Howard was 16-26 for 240 yards with 1 TD and 1 int. He also had 8 carries for 52 yards and another TD.
-
I believe you, but the same thing was said about Dayton and Splendora last night.

Boy, if Central loses this one after Vidor was blown out by 5 tds against BH. . .
-
Dude, y'all just lost at home to Splendora by two tds on homecoming. A Splendora team that's 1-18 the last three years in 4A district play. Every prediction involving Dayton is legit right now.
-
I don't think the have more talent than Crosby, New Caney or Humble and still have to play all three. We don't know about Porter yet but you would have to say BH would be favored against them too right now. Major game at Turner next week.
-
At this point you can't count out Porter beating Dayton too. They're going to play the same power football Splendora did and Bronco Pride just said they were dominated on both lines of scrimmage. Humble beats Dayton next week and 2-4 the rest of the way would be all they need to do to get in since they would have the tie-breaker over them as long as Porter doesn't make it a three way deal.

I thought Dayton was going to blow the doors off Splendora. Under the previous two coaches these are the games Dayton would get 40 just going through he motions. They scored at least 40 in 7 of 11 games last year and if you remember they scored 55 on Nederland with an unsettled qb situation. They said the previous guy was running the program into the ground, no disrespect to the kids that played their butts off for Splendora, but he would've killed this Dayton squad. Maybe more kids have come out to play and everybody loves the coach more but maybe there was a reason Hancock was the way he was. They went from the perception of their program being driven into the ground over the last five years to it about to be driven off a cliff in three games. Thats what happens when you hire the hometown guy, now he's the guy for the foreseeable future because he friends with everybody around town.
-
Yes, and by far the smallest school. They made the cutoff by 7 kids if I'm not mistaken, 1107.
-
Yeah, people putting for sale signs in the head coach's front yard is showing a lot of support. You made my point how bad Ned is, Dayton beat them in Nederland and just lost by two tds on homecoming to a team that's won six games the last three years in 4A. It's not an upset, Splendora was undefeated coming in and is a better football team than Dayton right now. Everybody has hurt qbs, Crosby put 40 on BH with the backup.
-
That's what happens when you cheer for an HISD level squad, you forget what a good football team looks like. If you go back an read the thread your prediction is actually the most outlandish one on here. Proves my point that you don't really pay attention to anything outside of GT football to think that a 40-6 win over Vidor or dropping 54 on Santa Fe was anything equivalent to what they would see at Crosby. BH is a good team, their qb is probably going to be all-district and Langelier is right up there with the best play-makers in the district. If Netherly is healthy we probably win the game by two or three more tds though. Just make sure you understand Crosby would punish Central and hopefully gets the opportunity in bi-district.
-
PNG fans need to take it as a lesson, be careful what you ask for.
-
Dayton is fortunate Terio Brown is done for the year. Turner is usually the toughest stadium in the district to play in and if Splendora could run the ball and play defense against Dayton on homecoming like that, you have to think that Humble even a man down can do something similar the way their qb can run. Interesting that Dayton hires "the offensive coach" and proceeds to struggle on offense, completely different team now than the one that was scoring 30 and 40+ in those second round losses the last three years.
-
They have a half page write-up in the Chronicle about the game so for whatever reason they're always late with the stats when hey do that. One stat they did mention was Williams rushing for 133 yards and two tds on just eight carries. Really interested to see what the sophomore qb's numbers looked like in his first extended action.
-
He's secretly hoping they don't get that same shocker Dayton fans got tonight.
-
+1, out of likes
-
You could've almost taken a paycheck from me on this game. I actually think Humble is the favorite next week now.
-
That's exactly why you never know with Humble. When they lose you scratch your head and when they win you scratch your head.
-
Yeah, Dayton goes to Turner next week and probably plays Humble for their season.
-
Told you about the Jayshaun kid BG, 9 carries for 133. Humble is another 21-5A head scratcher though: [Hidden Content]
