  1. Definitely did. We’re over here broke and y’all still can’t beat us.
  2. That’s because BH’s B-team QB is way better then their A-team QB. He’s their whole team. I was asking his dad in the stands why he’s not on A-team? Come to find out I work with both freshman QB’s dads and I’ll leave it at that.
  3. How we ever win in Barbers Hill is beyond me. Crosby freshman A probably had 15 penalties for 140 yards to BH’s two penalties for 10 yards. It was so bad the BH fans were saying “I hope we have the same refs tomorrow”, smh. Two ds called back. BH gets gifted a first down on roughing the passer because we hit him to hard, smh. Man it’s ridiculous.
  4. I think BH is going to need to be up around 3,200 to really compete in 6A in the boys sports and Crosby needs to be somewhere around 2,800 before they can. If you notice, CEK didn't really get good when they moved up until they reached right around the 3k enrollment mark.
  5. I would be surprised if they couldn't with some of the stories those boys come up with. We were out there on Bolivar tattooing the redfish in the surf Saturday night and 14.4 links up with about a 40" bull. He landed him, took some pics and released him. He goes back to the cooler to get a shrimp comes back with is $300 Lews set up broken in half and told me the fish did it, smh.
  6. Depending on how you want to look at it BH is either in a better or worse situation than Crosby. Yes, their increasing growth rate will naturally bring them more talent. On the other hand if that rate continues to increase it's going to get BH to 6A faster than they're probably ready for in the boys sports. The 5A-D1 cap is only 2,222 right now. Crosby will be over 2,100 at the next realignment and BH should be 100+ students larger than Crosby. BH could potentially go 6A at the next realignment without an increase in the enrollment cap, both Crosby and BH will be 6A by the '26 realignment though.
  7. So what you're highlighting is that BH lost to Crosby in every major boys sport? We already knew that. Crosby is also a couple of years removed from a 4x100 boys state championship, something BH will never ever sniff.
  8. We'll see, they lost to King and FB Marshall and killed Lee. We don't have a stud QB in the freshman class but 14.4 has a little cousin toting it out of the backfield. He's probably the best raw athlete in the entire family.
  9. You don't have to read between the lines. I'll lay it out for you if you need me to. [Hidden Content]
  10. That says even more about y'all though. Abseck doesn't have anybody on his staff that can relate to a lot of kids on Crosby's team so he would probably never be an option for Crosby's school board. I would hire a guy proved he can win with talent equivalent to the situation he's walking into.
  11. Nah, 14.4s older cousins at North Shore are the ones with the state titles and All-American recognition. My parents had enough money to move out of that area shortly after I was born due to some of my older cousins being killed.
  12. Lol, dude y'all literally hired the coach y'all have now because he beat Crosby in the semi-finals in '14. Otherwise he has 0 state titles to his name and y'all probably wouldn't have even reached out to him. I agree we're average, fact still remains that no 5A teams in the Houston area can consistently play with us outside of Manvel.
  13. You keep trying to throw in stupid catch words like "superior". Crosby has been better coached and has better athletes than BH, that's not debatable. That's why y'all have only beat us twice since the middle school kids have been alive. I'm not saying we can't play like last year and get beat, I'm just pointing out the percentages aren't on BH's side and haven't been for a while.
  14. We don't have the talent we had in the Riordan years so we hardly have any FBS kids anymore. C-Patt led Rice in receiving and should do it again this year, Chayse Todd is having a solid career at UH, Craig Williams is the backup RB at Baylor, Helburg just signed with UH this year, Raelon Singleton led Utah in receiving before transferring and maybe you throw in Austin Walter who's in the league right now. Maybe you're talking about the ones we've played against he last 4-5 years? In that case it's a bunch more
  15. Saying you don't have is FBS players is nowhere equivalent to saying you suck. That's just your perception of the comments. You don't have to tell me teams with no FBS players beat teams that have them because we do it all the time. Never would a non-blowout loss to BH be equivalent to the way were clowned around the state on basically every high school football outlet after losing by 56 at home to King. Don't gas the situation up dude
  16. Everybody that's been on this board for any number of years is well aware all my kids are #14, I've been doing this for over a decade on here. It's going to be a lot more than 5 years, I have young nephews and another young son. I love it too! So you're saying you on here talking trash and don't even have the DNA to produce a varsity football player? Makes sense now.
  17. What number is your boy? I'll make sure to tell my little sledge hammer to nail him to the turf.
  18. Nah, he's actually 14.4. His grandpa was the original 14, his dad was 14.2, his all-district big brother was 14.3, and his 8th grade little brother is 14.5.
  19. Kept who in check? Crosby scored 53 points on BH last year. It was obvious y'all didn't have FBS players on your defense. On the offensive side the only reason y'all kept it close is because of the two FBS player at receiver who won't be suiting up while the other won't be starting.
  20. Dude, y'all literally scored all those points because of how bad Sterling's offense was. Fumbling it at their own 10 yard line, throwing awful picks inside their own 10 yard line, etc. Sterling wasn't expected to be as bad but they gave up 77 the week before y'all so 59 isn't really a surprise. All Montgomery had was that RB last year which is why PNG beat them in the playoffs. They don't have anything, which is why they lost to Dayton too. You call being down 25 in the 4th quarter when they get off the gas respectful?
  21. Y'all's dbs are terrible, why wouldn't we take advantage of their poor tackling with screens? That's just good coaching. He had 184 rushing yards last week though, I would imagine that's going to be a similar number on BH based on film study. BH doesn't FBS defensive players all through their defense like CEK and FBM do. I tell you right now too, that FB Marshall team y'all beat last year is nothing like the one now with Banks moved to receiver and a different QB.
  22. I never claimed we were legendary. I know high school football history and wouldn't make dumb comments like that. Manvel just got dogged out by Shadow Creek, they wouldn't be able to stay on the field with CEK either. Just like y'all wouldn't. Lol, y'all couldn't even stay on the field with MW.
  23. Only to show how bad y'all looked that night too for reference. One thing for sure about opening night is that y'all don't haver personnel anywhere in the hemisphere of CEK. Crosby has a running back that can truck through your defense like #4 from Mag. West did. IDK why they were even trying to throw the ball so much? They could've just lined up and mashed y'all into the dirt with the running game.
  24. Forgot all about that, and CEK curb-stomped Shadow Creek in the playoffs last year. At least we scored on CEK. When the person I knew at the scrimmage left it was 6 tds for SC to 0 for BH.
