Don’t worry about the defensive statistics in this one, first team to 50 wins. PNG is going to be severely tested at the line of scrimmage this game. Jalen Washington is sitting just shy of 2,000 rushing yards and he has a solid o-line to run behind. PNG needs to play clean offensively and they’ll need to have their best tackling game of the season or those Montgomery backs will make it a slow and painful transition to basketball season.

I think this one is going to be a low scoring defensive affair. Both offenses have had games where they’ve scored some points but I don’t think either offense is good enough to have much success against the others defense. I think you’re liable to see a 23-17 type game right here. This is your classic game that’s decided by a turnover or special teams error/TD.

Nah, as far as the legendary ISD stadiums in THSF Stallworth is probably top five. Any time you get a chance to bless it with what would be a game of that caliber, you do so. It would probably also be the location of an all 12-5A-D2 regional final too. Prior to that you drop 10,000 people in there Thanksgiving weekend though. NRG can wait until the semis.

That’s called “snow-flake ball”, we don’t play that over here in 12-5A-D2. You take your whipping and move on to the next week. In GP’s case “next week” involves free throws.

It’ll be the game at Stallworth that we never go to play against Dayton, that one was supposed to be a regional final game BH finished 4th so now it would have to be in the regional semis. Right now I’m not too sure TC can’t clean out that other side of the bracket?

A couple of PNG posters were trying to ding me up after y’all went down to TC and did that 7 point face plant and I still stuck behind that analysis, rightly so on their part though. Glad y’all were able to go take care of business. Being respected is awesome but being feared is even better. Considering what they’ve done to them I figure Consol. is probably pretty scared of FBM, I wonder how they feel about the team that just brutalized them?

Marshall is the weakest team of any of the four teams we’ll be playing this week so making matchups where you were trying to get another sweep this isn’t one you would set up, but if you excluded those two teams then this is exactly how I would set up the three remaining matchups. TC can play a 21-17 slobber-knocker with TH, PNG can win a 52-48 shootout with Montgomery and BH can grind down Consol. 35-31. All the speculation aside, 12-5A-D2 once again proves that we play from the most treacherous district in the region.

Great job from PNG. If you’re going to beat Montgomery you need to clean up some of that low hanging fruit though. I left at the end of the 3rd quarter last night but I saw some things PNG needs to tighten up on immediately if they’re going to make the regional semis. Crippen is still missing too many easy throws, the ball is on the ground too often and PNG’s defense is still a work in progress. If GP had any kind of qb PNG would’ve given up a lot more passing yards last night. Several times PNG was beaten off the hard play-action and GP just couldn’t execute the throw, Bolfing is going to hit that on you next week against Montgomery plus you’re going to bite even harder on the fakes because of how much money their 2,000 yard back will be getting against you. I think PNG’s defense is going to give up 40+ but I think the offense is going to be able to move the ball with relative ease against the Bears. PNG also gets an area game closer than your bi-district game which is a stroke of good fortune.

Man, I was looking for another highlight but the only other one I saw was another long run from him just like that. Crazy that kid is a freshman, Rio knew where to go. Part of the that argument “Are you really that great of a coach or are you a great coach when you’re at a place with great talent?”.

Congrats, y’all deserved that one. This is what I felt like y’all could be since I saw y’all play us. Had me looking real dumb after the TC game. Definitely y’all’s biggest win since moving up. A&M-C is going to be a different animal next week but enjoy the hell out of this one this weekend and I hope to see y’all at Stallworth on Black Friday.

That’s actually pretty respectable considering the competition y’all have to play but that “previous staff” part kind of sticks out in that statement.

Their defense is only tough because they have great athletes, full stop. Sometimes the problem with coaching at a school with great offensive athletes though is that they turn mediocre offensive play calls into great ones because of their abilities. Now you don’t realize those play-calls mediocre until you face someone that can wash out their athletes. Seems like that’s plagued PAM for quite some time now. What is PAM’s playoff record since dropping down to 5A?
