Here's the problem with that logic. Who does harden have around him? Dwight but has attitude and was hurt, Josh Smith got ejected from one game. Who else was their for the Rockets last week. Klay Thompson has Steph, Andre, Draymond, Harrison Barnes, Bogut, and David Lee that all can be the man any given night. Last week he averaged around 33 mins a game and put up 37 in a perfect quarter. Even Steve Kerr said that was Michaelesque. When you brake an nba record you are guaranteed the player of the week award. I think Harden should be MVP. Before seeing him against the Warriors I didn't think so but in that game the rest of his team seemed to quit but he kept going in the 3rd. Steph is probably the better all around player now that he's playing defense and can shoot from anywhere but his team has too many weapons for their to be one star. I'm a huge warriors fan (and a Steph fan from Davidson that's why you see 30 in my name) but the truth is Bogut has been the MVP of the warriors this season. He changes everything. Tonight he became ill before the game and their was no inside presence. Harden should be MVP but LeBron could be there at the end as well.

As of now it will be and should be Russell but could end up being Stidham all things considering. Russell is more of an athletic QB than Petty but can still throw the ball well unlike Griffin. I do not think Briles has ever had a bad QB as a coach. The question is can the defense continue to improve and if Kendall will learn to run the ball instead of Leach's system on steroids. Baylor is here to stay right now.

I'm neutral in this and I do think there are some shady things. My mother is from new braunfels and knew the kingsburys and went to baylor. Then I went to school near Stephenville and grew up hating them but I do know with either of those coaches Stidham could be great. Will NCAA investigate probably especially because luck is now there but until any actual improprieties are proven then congrats to Stidham and Baylor and hopefully Kliff can find another.

Since everyone is mentioning the truck and briles connection to stephenville didn't Stidham already live with the guy and work at Barefoot when he was a tech commit? Yes things seem shady but the fact is there are a lot of connections. It was after kliff didn't guarantee him the starting spot or even a non redshirt that he decommitted. Does anyone know how long he has been driving the truck or if maybe it was a graduation gift. Also would things be the same if it was a Baylor commit from New Braunfels that switched to Tech?

Well the story that is floating around is his parents want him to go out of the state to get away from this guy. He has only been a bad influence.   But the fact is all of these are stories and no one really knows the whole truth other than he decommitted on Friday and was visiting Baylor Sunday. But Waco is only about 75 miles away so he could have gone to Waco to go shopping and just stopped by the campus. I know that when I am in Waco I do that to see the bears.   These are all just stories so there is nothing that can be said.

This whole Stidham thing is going to get crazy, heard he was on Baylor's campus today but if he ends up there the controversy and the rumors will just begin.   Funny how when the oil business picks back up the old Southwest Conference recruiting strategies pick right back up with it. Just A&M fans no more Gold Trans Am, with computer's it will be easier to prove. All other backroom deals should still work however.

Being from Stephenville and a QB Baylor makes since and can almost be guaranteed to win the Heisman.   Not gonna lie this hurts, hurts bad. A star west of I-35 that could turn tech around decommits a week before graduating high school to enroll at Tech. Its gonna take a while to digest being a fan of Kliff and Tech.   If it aint Tech then I hope its Baylor just cause of Briles, a true Texan, that represents Texas and knows how to teach QBs better than anyone.
