If Baylor had been picked lets say in the sugar bowl then there would be fans. Briles is the epitome (?) of texas football and can bring in the fans because people want him to do well and showcase the state. Plus baylor grads have the money to travel. TCU I do not think would have brought fans in the same way. As for the picks the committee had their hands tied. Ohio State just destroyed Wisconsin, a one loss team. They made sense. If TCU got in then their would be riots in Waco. If a Baylor got in then their would be riots on University St. The safest bet was to just pick Ohio State and stay out of the big 12 controversy as much as possible and say hey y'all don't have a championship game.

Well CUSA will have 13 teams next year as Charlotte starts their team. Read that CUSA bylaws state schools must sponsor football so it could be that UAB is removed entirely from the conference. For other sports having an odd number of teams will make scheduling tricky so they probably will need to expand if they rule that UAB must leave. If not then they may just follow the MACs scheduling.

Usually I am against Oklahoma but looking at this game, Kansas knew the run was coming the whole game. It is pouring down at Oklahoma and the game is on grass. That I think makes it a special accomplishment.

Freshman out of Pflugerville, just set the FBS rushing record with 427 yards on 34 attempts. Oklahoma has 40 yards passing on 3-12 in the pouring rain.

Florida State will end up losing in the acc championship game. Then it would be between possibly 2nd SEC school and the Big 10 champ which could be ohio state. They are quietly sneaking into the conversation. That would cause drama. As for Baylor/TCU saga if both end up with one loss shouldn't that be Baylor since they beat TCU in what basically becomes a play-in game.

I hope that this game can be picked by some national channel. I know it would be last minute but it would be worth it. At least as of now the school is going to stream it.

Abdullah should be up there with Mariota and Prescott. Those are the top 3. Nebraska is looking at a 10 win season and he is averaging probably 200 all purpose yards per game

The Catch - Harrell to Crabtree Edit: Honestly that whole drive was intense

This was the first time I have really watched him play and he is the best in college. He led Oregon to this win. While yes it was just washington state this game could be his defining heisman moment.

With about 3:30 left Washington State driving after Oregon had scored on 3 & 14 from around the 35 or 40 of Oregon the refs missed the easiest pass interference call. Next play Washingston state gets sacked.

That's how country boys do. Don't blame Briles for making his players tough enough to not be afraid to run.
