The only time I watched Nederland play live was against Georgetown last year.  Georgetown was a very good team last year.  Good luck to both teams this Friday.

Is Nederland front line on defense better this year or last? Is Nederland QB better this year or last? I know Crosby's off. line will be much better this year then last and the offense they have everyone back. Crosby Defense they lost their line and some DB's.

The way people have been talking I thought it was 45-7!!!

I went to the Summer Creek vs GP game last Friday.  GP has a good quick QB and a couple of quick running backs.  their passing game needs some work. Their defense could not stop SC but SC has a big line average app. 280-290.  Their QB's are 6'3" and 6'4" and can run and pass.  SC running backs are big 6'1"220 pounds and runs a 4.4.  So it is tough to stop a team like that. GP has a big def line average 250-260 up front and their DB are good.

It sounds like the Nederland fans think Crosby does not have a chance of winning.  What was the score from last year?

I am also hoping Crosby beats Nederland being KP is from District 19-4a.  I think Crosby line is bigger and better then last year since they are returning 5 off. line.  Crosby has two big rec. 6'5" and 6'3" and a good QB and running back. Crosby will have 3-4 off. line app. 270 each and I think they will slow Nederland front three down some.  Nederland sounds like they have the best front three in the area according to what a lot of people from Nederland are saying. It sounds like the Nederland has the biggest and quickest DB in the area.  They should have the best def. in the area.

Sad to hear that the best QB at AHS is a freshman???  For a school that has over 3,000 kids.

SC - you also won the state track meet in only your 2nd year of v sports in 4A 2013. KP thinks you are doing just fine!!!  Glad to have you in the Humble school district!!!

SC was just like us at KP when we first started small crowds for new school.  SC is starting their 4th season and has small crowds compared to Ned and PN.  I think it is great that NED and PN has the following they do and maybe once we have more years under our belt at KP and SC we will too.  It sounds like NED is the team to beat this year not SC!!

Does Ned have a big offenses line?  How big are they? Crosby rec are bigger then NED rec but are they faster?

AHS should have been 7-3 last year with the talented kids they had.  I think this year they should also be 7-3 but don't think they have the coaching they need.  What I am hearing is that AHS from all those kids to pick from that only Campbell can play QB??? Campbell needs to be at Rec not QB.  AHS should make playoffs this year with the kids they have playing.

I heard from my friends from PA that Stump looks at for his own kids first then the team. I have been hearing from parents at Atas.  the same thing is going on now.  To bad for the team and the kids.  Playing Campbell at QB instead of WR?  Why have your best receive play QB?  Makes you want to think about it.

GP defense was a big up front average 250-260 but little slow.  I thought their DB was their best on defense.  Their middle LB's were good but outside smaller and slow. GP Off. was lead by their QB that was a excellent runner but not so good passer (3 int).  Their runner backs are small but quick. Keep in mind that SC off. line was 305,340,270,280,250 so they were going against a big line.  SC qb Aron Sharp is one of the best in Texas 6"3"200 pounds but SC back up QB is 6'4" 210 pound and is a running and good passer as well.  GP did not score on SC #1 defense but SC defense is bigger and quicker then last year.  The one thing I notice is Sc has two big Safetys this year.  Last year they were both 5'10".

Crosby has 5 off. lineman back from last, they will average 270 across the front.  Should be a good match up with Nederland def line but I give the edge to Nederland.  Crosby has two big rec. 6'5" and 6'3" should match up good with Nederland DB. Crosby def. does not have the speed at DB to keep up with Nederland rec. Should be a great game, turnovers could be the main factors.

Everyone says Nederland has the best def. line in the area and Crosby runs the ball.  Crosby has a hard time with speed and Nederland backs are fast.  Nederland over Crosby 35-21
