King I have doubt if Dukie stays healthy can can be a productive back at the next level.  We just know who have the best #8 in the back field right now. :ph34r:

Only reason I have NEb there is because if they win out, MSU wins out they will play in the B1G champ game as top 10 teams. Winner comes out of that game with 1 loss and possible ranked top 5.  But thats if they both win out.

  And to think we (HJS) lost to Crosby 6-0 and lost handily to Gentry.    Anyone know how Horace Mann 7A team is?

FSU will have a loss. OLE Miss will lose again Mich St will not lose again and will take the B1G, or Neb will win out and Beat MSU in the B1G champ game. Miss St will lose in the SEC SUPERBOWL and will still get a playoff spot along with the SEC champ. Oregon wins out and will slip in.   So my pipe dream will be this lol.   Oregon MSU / Neb Miss St SEC Champ

I am not worried about it.  And he isn't worried like you are thinking.  It was just a simple conversation. Any I think any kid that wants to play at the next levels whether it be High School or college always thinks about stuff like that in the back of their minds. Its natural. This is when it is important for the parent to keep them grounded and working on all of the above you stated.   And outside of football or sports he wants to be a engineer.

Yea that to.  I didnt even really point out NFL guys.  He is more interested in the college game then the pros.   LOL but his fav player is J.J. Watt.

Don't really know where to put this. So my son plays 7th grade football at the moment. Starts at D-End and RT. He hates offense but loves defense. On defense he lives in the back field.  his team isn't doing all that well and the other night he told me he hates that he cant do more to help the team and thinks since he plays on the line he wont have a chance to be seen by his high up coaches and college coaches ( of coarse this is for when he is in HS ). We had about an hour talk about how it doesn't matter where you play if you are good and keep doing your job you will get noticed. I told him just because you are not on a great team there may be scouts there to watch other players on the opposing team. If you keep making plays in the back field you will get noticed.   The I was looking yesterday at the ESPN 300 recruiting board. Well 6 of the top 10 are either D-line or O-line. So when I got home I pulled it up and let him take a look at it, told him look at the top 10. What position has the most kids. His eyes lit up and said D-line. I said see you guys get noticed you just have to work a little harder then the rest.    

How can anyone put Petty on the list but not put Halliday from Washington St.  Everyone will say cause Halliday is in a passing system right.

I wouldnt say we have many high end athletes but we have a couple playing in the wrong spots.     We have BH South next week. Coming back to my old grounds lol.

You were impressed with Crosbys 7A. We all but shut them down on offense baring 1 short drive due to a turnover.  I dont see Dayton Stopping Gentry, they gave up 19 to us and our offense cant get out of its own way. Gentry wont have a problem with CBJ nor will they have one with Crosby.   Which is the better team out of BH North and south?

Typical Baytown JR High ball. Team has some talent that is being used in the wrong spots. Think we are 2-3-1 now.  Lost a close one to Crosby 6-0 and a last second one to Dayton 20-19 on a 45 yrd strike. Only blowouts have come by the way of Gentry. Still have BH north and Horace Mann.  

Only thing I hate about this forum lol is there are no 7A team representatives lol
