  1. I haven't been able to get a score as of yet.  The BYT Jr B team was an hour late to the game and only played 2 6 minute halves.  From what I am hearing the score board wasn't working during the A team game but HJS won pretty bad.  Just haven't been able to nail down a score yet.
  2. King how do you feel about these predictions?   Miami (2-1) at Nebraska (3-0) Sept. 20, 8:00, ESPN2    Here's The Deal: Two traditional powerhouses meet in Lincoln for a compelling, blast-from-the-past matchup.    Miami and Nebraska have combined to win 10 national championship, eight since 1983. But building a bridge to the glory days has been difficult for both, especially the Hurricanes. Miami is still feeling its way through the post-NCAA investigation era, while looking for its first ACC crown since joining the league a decade ago. The Canes have bounced back from a Labor Day loss to Louisville by beating Florida A&M and Arkansas State. While the Huskers have been in much better shape in recent years, hardware has been elusive for them as well. And a close call with McNeese State two weeks ago raised worries that another year will pass without a Big Ten title.    Why Miami Might Win: The offense is moving in the proper direction, and coming off its best game. The Canes have plenty of speedy playmakers, like RB Duke Johnson and receivers Stacy Coley and Phillip Dorsett. The missing piece was at quarterback, but rookie Brad Kaaya is fresh off a confidence-building effort that saw him throw for 342 yards and four scores in the Arkansas State game. If Kaaya can stay hot, Miami has the weapons to beat the Huskers to the edge.    Why Nebraska Might Win: Miami lacks the defensive front wall to stop the Husker ground game. Nebraska is averaging 324 rushing yards a game and 7.3 yards per carry, spearheaded by dynamite, do-everything RB Ameer Abdullah and shifty QB Tommy Armstrong. Testament to the team’s backfield depth, four different players have rushed for at least two scores. The Huskers will grind down a mediocre Cane front, creating opportunities for Armstrong to hook up deep with Kenny Bell and Jordan Westerkamp.  Who To Watch Out For: Miami and Nebraska have legitimate superstars on defense. Who leaves a bigger imprint on Saturday night, Husker DE Randy Gregory or Cane LB Denzel Perryman? Gregory is an elite pass-rusher, the likes of which can shatter the confidence of a young quarterback. Perryman is the perfect antidote to the run-heavy Huskers. NFL scouts want to see how both players respond to their toughest test of the season so far.    What’s Going To Happen: Chalk one up for the Big Ten … finally.    This is a marquee opportunity for Abdullah, and he won’t squander it. In fact, he’ll put the Huskers on his back if need be, much as he’s done in recent years. The Big Red running game will be most effective in the second half, when Miami’s legs are getting tired. Abdullah will outplay Johnson in the battle of the premier backs, while Kaaya takes a small step back playing at night in Lincoln against a fired up D.     Prediction: Nebraska 33 - Miami 28
  3. Husker-Hurricane connections: Aside from West Boca’s Bondi and King, this game also has a few sets of high school teammates. Among them: * Goudis and Hurricanes starting quarterback Brad Kaaya played with Nebraska running back Terrell Newby at West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade. Newby, a sophomore and backup to Huskers starAmeer Abdullah, has 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 25 carries this year. Kaaya said he’ll look for No. 34 on the sideline, but won’t speak to him until after the game. “It’s crazy, because I’ve played with Terrell since I was six years old,” Kaaya said. “It’s a bit of a trip. It’s surreal to be playing against him.” * At Norcross (Ga.) High last season, UM tight end Chris Herndon caught passes from Nebraska backup A.J. Bush. Norcross won a Georgia Class AAAAAA state title. * UM tight end Stan Dobard, a sophomore, and three Nebraska freshmen played at Edna Karr High in New Orleans. Wide receivers Glenn Irons and Jariah Tolbert were teammates with Dobard. Huskers linebacker Jaevon Walton was on last year’s team. * UM right guard Danny Isidora, a redshirt sophomore, and Nebraska redshirt freshman defensive back Boaz Joseph were teammates at Weston-Cypress Bay. * Also, Nebraska has a player named Dwayne Johnson, but he is not directly related the WWE wrestler (and former Hurricanes defensive lineman) by the same name. He’s a redshirt freshman offensive tackle from Houston.
  4. I love what you have to say here but I am just a little nervous. Wont lie.
  5. HJS B 8th grade lost 20-0.  Still trying to get a A-team score.
  6. Hmm.  Not sure on that. But I could be wrong.
  7. The only reason to sleep on Highlands is well I am not going to say. They have enough athletes to compete.  Both 7th and 8th grade A teams.
  8. Ok Ok  well disregard our McNeese St scare lol.
  9. Its getting closer and closer.   King where ya at????
  10. I agree..
  11. Thats a interesting mix of positions, WR, DE, kick returner and may play tackle.       Highlands 7A team played last night and we struggled. They played Baytown Jr and let me tell ya that team was very undisciplined. 1 kid thrown out in the 3rd quarter. He had been talking allot of mess from the beginning and in the 3rd he nearly ripped the QB's head off by the facemask. Cut him for a flip and then started mouthing the ref cause he got a flag. They tossed him and he proceeded to show his I wont say the word on here all the way to the parking lot where people had to go get him.  Big different I seen between the 2 teams was lack of toughness. Baytown Jr skilled players wanted to hit as where HJS looks scared. My boy started offense and defense for HJS. Didn't have to bad of a game in my opinion.   BYT JR  6 HJS        6
  12. Yes I think it will be a interesting match up for us. ! think i can say for sure. Its not like 02 when The U was fast and we were slow. We have Speed now lol.
  13. Good luck to you guys also.
  14. Heck yea its that time.  Cant wait for 630 this evening. We have Baytown Jr tonight.
  15. Cause he cant stop East Carolina lol.
  16.   Got to love your Faith lol.
  17. B1G is week Ill agree, but if some one goes unbeaten you cant leave them out lol.
  18. Man I dont know. If they play like they did against Fresno and FAU then Miami is in trouble.  If you get the Mcneese Huskers you may get a win.  I think its gonna be Husker win 38-24
  19. That is the thing what if they do? I don't think they will but they do have a legit shot. Everyone is writing the B1G completely out but oh well.  Yes we struggled with McNeese last we but they will fix the ship some what.
  20.   No  dout they took it to us. Happens every year. A big school over looks a little school.  Between our play calling, losing our top 2 wr's we stuggled. But we did what was needed in the in to come away with a W.
  21. Man i cant wait.  My boy made 7th A team at Highlands. Still not sure how this team will come together though.
  22.   I would agree a little bit.  We have some good freshman and soph players. My thing is our play calling on offense. Terrible.
  23. I'm here.  They def played great.  We overlooked them for sure.  We also lost our #1 and # 2 w's in the 1st qrt.. All i can di is shake my head. lol
  24. If i am right Louisville is Adidas.     King Miami is just Miami. They will come around. You think they were going to come out and be world beats in game 1. Well we all hope our teams will but it dont always happen. I think they will lose 2 more 3 at the most.
