Im only going by what the experts say my man..lol..Jim Hicks said today on his radio show we were 40 out of 40 in his rankings im guessin cause we lack division 1 players idk. But they are the EXPERTS and ppl value their opinion....

The experts picks for 22-5A: 1. PA Memorial-return majority of their team young but very talented led by Derrian Chatman 2.Central- return the bulk of their team including D1 prospects Kobi Dill,Byron Arceneaux,Jaylon Williams 3. Nederland -Kevin Howard & Darryl Jones will lead the way for the Bulldogs along with some young & upcoming players 4. Ozen -jury still out ..we will see what the season holds!!!!!!!!!!

Hey dadofabulldog i agree with everything you said at the end of the day he is in the right place. Ive seen way too many kids & parents turn down d2-d3-naia-juco offers because they felt they were d1 only material, glad yall trusted the process and he's making the most of his opportunity. Basketball is just the tool the degree is what really matters.

They havent played this year ,they did last yr at the super 16

Im happy for Miguez the kid can play & after watching Lamar he couldve played there imo. The other problem Lamar has is they NEED a point guard ,Josh Boyd wouldve fit that mold,. Lamar will regret it when they play Northwestern St. mark my words.

Yes there is no possible way Ozen should be ranked that high because well they are gonna be average at best this year. I Hear they are picked 4th in district PA Memorial,Central,Nederland,Ozen. They played decent in the preseason but not enough to warrant a ranking that high.

You are correct Tx Hoops im just trying to take it one day at a time and the kids know its a marathon not a sprint. I told you the motto is "The harder the struggle, the bigger the gain." meaning if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Ive coached most of this team since they were young. They were the forgotten kids because ppl felt like they werent good enough didnt want to take the time to teach them. It was much more than that for me so i feel extrememly close to them. Ive explained to the them along with the coaches the importance of playing together as one. It doesnt matter who shines because when the team wins they all win. They believe and in the end no matter what i or anyone else says they plan on getting it done. Ppl dont see it but i do which i why i will always go to bat for them. October 26,2016 the goal starts hopefully it ends on March 11,2017 3pm.with trophy in hand

I understand it used to be a big time tournament have you guys ever thought of getting Doug Jones or Jim Hicks from RCSSPORTS imvolved they could turn it around with one phone call.

Guess my shot at downplaying didnt work. Honestly it puts a target on your back like i said earlier either your gonna hold it down or give it away. If they play with the mentality that they deserve it and much more then theyll be ok, i sure hope so because its a long season a marathon not a sprint.
