Actually Central's only lead was 12-8 end of the 1st and they never lead again so how they were up 12 is a mystery. I will tell you they looked out of sync with a lot of one on one basketball. Looked to me that a point was trying to be made by certain players to prove they are the "man". The reserves didnt give them much outside of two 3's by #21 ... Atwood was clearly tired which is why he didnt have a good game having to rebound,score,assist,and d-up takes alot of out of you with no rest.

i think ppl who don't really know sports just like to talk. Ppl still havent learned it doesn't matter what so callled classification you are or wherever you are from if you can play that particular sport well and do it as a team you have a chance to beat anybody. Never underestimate your opponent because you feel like your 6a and their 2a. But is their overall basketball game a 2a . Big Sandy would give alot of teams problems because just like in every sport its about matchups and which ones will be exploited. A la Golden St. , Boise St ,or Monmouth. Stop putting labels on these teams and watch them play thats the only thing that matters at the end of the day. CAN YOU PLAY...PERIOD...

he's a good coach he started all sophomores against Nederland, they played them tough but they are young right now not enough experience . They will have to take their bumps and bruises but next year they'll be very good.

90% of Miguez shots were layups, Memorial made no adjustments in their press and he gladly had easy ones in the 4th qtr. Im sure he had 20-24 in the 4th wowww ...plus I wouldn't piss the kid off he seems to feed off that. WinWin and I quit counting after he got to 30....lol

Kelly obviously has a great communications program. Plus the kids always have fresh legs and the lighting is great ... Lolllll

West Brook actually has some talent over there a couple of good freshman,some sophomores & juniors. The seniors they have arent really good leaders or players except #11 and sometimes #10 . The other problem for varsity is they ONLY have 1 ball handler #2 ,subpar shooters #31etc etc. Plus i don't think they do a good job of developing players like a Ozen and Central.

Yates didnt play their starters after the 1st qtr. and all Cy Lakes has is Fox and i wont mention KF their best players went to SATCH & the oher to FallBrook. If you went to the game West Brook actually played well the 1st qtr and they gave Atascocita problems with the zone all they wanted to do was jack up 3's thats why it was tied. But thent he subbing for WB and the defensive game plan changed why idk but it was stupid tthey went to a box &1 , then to a triangle & 2... And thats all she wrote ...

Beat a very good team 3 times in a year including last year... Thats tough because Harker Heights is well coached too... I thought last year that was the best team Ozen had faced all year ...

Dont forget both beaumont school beat Bush so as someone stated earlier its not like they cant be beat. And dont forget Elkins last yr district champ is in their district they return the majority of their team from last year only losing two off it.. Bush will not just breeze past them ..

This is for the two experts Jahlil Okafor was clearly the guy on Duke but Justice Winslow had huge games did hat make him better because of that. They complimented each other and both benefited by having BOTH of them there. It isnt about scoring the most points, its about playing to help your team win and doing whatever is asked of you by the coaches.
