Most of these programs like API struggle with well coached high school programs.. Because i can almost bet some of thee guys arent teaching the game they just keep working on stuff they are alrwdy good at... Have no good offensive sets or defensive schemes its reason why you do certain things offensively and defensively. You just dont do it because it looks good. They got these high school kids running pro style offenses smdh and they struggling with just the basics of lets say a motion offense.. Like i said be a student of the game not a fan of the student...

See thats the problem i have when teams who are obviously well coached and better talent wise have to scale back their high level of play for fear of some folks saying it was unnecessary for them to run the score up. So i take my starters out and play my bench and im sure those kids want to play and prove why they are there but because the other team is less talented i have to tell them hold back. Whether unintentional or intentional you can never win this argument because there are unrealistic people who feel everyone gets a trophy. Guess we should tell our kids in the classroom to hold back because they make higher grades than some of their classmates. If the classroom isnt competitive then why have class rankings,gpa's,salutatorians & valedictorians. Jmo and not asking anyone to agree...

These same players got beat by SATCH who you said yourself didnt have the necessary components to compete with such talent. And i said some not all are overrated didnt even state which kid , but it is the truth. Lets say some of these guy coach kiids who already have talent but can they take an average kid and make him better is the question

Thats sad man that goes to show you some of these guys are not coaches but hypemen for children. Pumping those kids up to get checks off of them. Some of the kids are highly overrated but hecause they play with certain teams they get a name. Be a student of the game not a fan of the student.

Here we go again you guys getting caught up , if Memorial played Silsbee they would get beat by 40 there is no sneak dissing involved here. I said WB 3rd because theyve been playing together longer thats it. Memorial is the lil brother tagging along this year if your only win is against vidor that isnt saying much. TxHoops lets not go there because you only saying something because you have players over at Memorial. Hell WB could finish 4th idc ,Memorial is young hell they got blasted by Houston Lamar, cmon now be real about this. I never said they were a bad team just not ready, WB returns 3 starters & 4 more with varsity experience. We'll come back to this after district and then youll say dang he was right & i sure hate it.

yes that was the game it was 51-50 ...but north shore doesnt have anybody on the field thats gonna change the game for them all of their players are pretty much basketball maybe 2 off the field.. Elkins returns pretty much their entire team from last yr only lost 2-3 seniors...so yep their loaded and pissed all of them have the ozen game score as their headers ...their coming hard and fast..

As i stated in an earlier post that SATCH would beat API but someone said it couldn't happen too much talent ...my take on some of these loaded D1 teams yea they are nice teams, good eye candy but when a team gets in your ishhhh youll find out where their heart is... One thing i know about Caldwell he is a TRUE COMPETITOR an outright dog, give me that over some grown men hyping up kids and selling them like livestock to make a name for themselves.. And no thats not saying the kids cant play but hey it is what it is right!!!!!!

This game shouldn't have been close HJ couldve blown the doors off Nederland but the subbing in the 2nd qtr allowed them to close the gap...Nederland plays hard tho gotta give em credit #5 for Nederland doesn't care where he is on the floor the shot is going up ...again they need someone who can handle the ball and get ppl in their spots ...

If Alex Hobbs doesnt scored 35 i'll be shocked....

Kelly just plays great team basketball , wish they had two bigs maybe a 6'6 & 6'8 theyd be awesome ...

Uil says students may not dress out,travel or parcticipate in school events ,or be on the sidleine or bench during athletic events if ineligible. are you guys sure its UIL and not DEC that cleared him....
