BH by 21 points. BH knows how to defend Vidor type offense. Vidor won't be able to defend the BH pass game. BH about to start the season of upsets. Nobody giving BH a chance for a playoff spot, starting next week we begin to change people's minds.

Nobody new moving to the Golen Triangle. WOS and Newton stays good because when kids graduate, they stay there and reproduce. It's the same almost every school in the area, that's why it's the same every year going to the playoffs. Teams like Aledo, Allen, Katy, Westlake, Manvel and every other suburd of a metropolitan city to busting at the seems with growth. New people with skills moving to those places every day. Every now and then, somebody will catch lightning in a bottle, but usually it's the same schools.

No seriously. Most of them have elementary aged kids. Just hope we can put a good product out there.

BH has quite a few new coaches including 3 from Allen, 1 from Spring Westfield, 1 from HS in Alabama and maybe a couple others. I know we have a lot of coaches. Not sure if there is a maximum or not.

Buddy, I have to admit, I miss the days of donkey stomping them Yellowjackets and Bumblebees. The Honeybee's made halftime worth it though.

LoL, hey our 91 team was hot, but WB reminds me of BH, we struggled to get out of 1st round every year after going undefeated. Then Ozen opened up and the rest is history.

Oh yea, I always forget about PAM. They have depressed me over the years after combining 3 schools and under performing. Thought for sure with the athlete's that come out of PA, ya'll would've made some deep runs. So add Memorial to the mix. Not impressive for our area for sure to only get past the 2nd round a handful of times in past 10 years.

There is no powerhouse in the upper classifications in SETX. WB is the only 6A team left in the area. If you look at 21 and 22-5A playoffs teams in the last 10 years, there's not one team that would be considered a powerhouse. Teams that have went past 2 nd round the most in last 10 years is Dayton 5 times, Crosby 2 times, Central 2 times and Nederland 2 times. Mediocre teams with a local powerhouse flavor. That's about it.

I will be surprised if BH don't battle for 3rd or 4th this year. Practice is starting to look alot better. May be some surprises this year. Stay tuned.

KWP will have a young QB this year. I think Crosby and Dayton will extend their seasons, but the rest is a toss up imo.

When I was still in the PNG district, I was the only coach from PNG to go to STJFL coach get together at BWW in PA. We had an awesome time and it was coaches from Lumberton there. They were jam up guys, as was the rest that were there. I already knew a couple from growing up in Beaumont, but never had a problem with any of them. Of course, that was my experience.

They did some today. Coach wants them in heat in evening since it's around the time they will play. Linemen stay outside though. Lol

Heat was beating down my Eagles yesterday. 3 pm to 7 pm is a rough time. Appeared that we have a long ways to go. Lol

Not very many kids. They will struggle with depth. I caught last 30 minutes. I forsee a long season for them. I think Dayton will be pretty decent. I'll have to watch some more before I'm confident on predictions. Spledora reminds me of Porter. I bet they don't have more then 30 kids on varsity and most appeared to be warm bodies.

Watched a little of Dayton and Splendora practice this morning . Now, getting ready to watch my boys and BH practice. Ready for this season to get going.
