I thought it was going to say that all 3 can't beat mid county. Lol -

I watch others during playoffs since we've been at home the last 3 years. Lol -

Cougar, we do have faster kids. I know this Vidor group as my boys played them throughout the years. We moved from PNG remember. I know their style of offense. Vidor plays tough, but I don't see them beating BH. -

You haven't seen the one at Barbers Hill. -
Lol, I remember when we played Booker T. Washington one year and during halftime, we were peeking out of the locker room to watch their band because ours was boring.

If they play "throw your v's up", I'm going to vomit. The only thing good about Vidor football is their homecoming halftime show. We have faster white boys. Lol BH will win this game. Trust me -
The white one's on twitter now. Nice look.
-
Don't worry, he won't move. I tried to get his dad to move to the Hill this summer.
-
I know Doobie, but I still like stirring it up. Good luck to them Stangs this year! Miss them battles when the kids were younger.
-
Lol, couldn't compete in 6A? After a couple of years they will turn in 4A numbers. Lol Just ask BG

Sideline to Sideline 2016 Dark Horse Show
Clueless replied to Gsquared's topic in High School Football
Most of these teams are already really good. You think they picked enough dark horse teams? Lol -
I personally know the kid and his family. He will go through Central like butter. The kid is the real deal. I think his dad said he was high 4.4 or low 4.5 this summer and only a Sophmore. He's a true 15 year old. Hughes is dang fast himself. Just get a good seat when ya'll play them. Lol
-
True, but I could see short yardage situations and somewhere on defense. I know Hughes is fast, but Bost can used on both sides is what I'm saying.

Aug. 19 Baytown Sterling at Barbers Hill 7 PM
-
If I was a betting man, and Bost loses out to Johnson at the QB position, look for Bost to get some carries. Bost is too good not to be on the field whether offense or defense. I think he could carry the rock if need be. They have a couple others that help as well.
-
My take on it is the BISD schools Ozen and Central have been frustrated since they've been in this district. I don't know the win/loss record against Ned/PNG, but it's not good. Central was use to having competitive teams back when it was WB and Central with no Ozen. They were dropped down when Ozen opened and have for the most part struggled against Mid County. They looking for any advantage!.LOL
-
Two incidents I know about. The soccer thing and about 7 or 8 years ago when Central and PNG got into an altercation on the football field and a couple of PNG parents had to be removed from the field. Other than that, I don't recall any other incidents.
-
They have Swamp Seeds though! Lol
-
They wouldn't understand, you know that. Lol
-
I understand, but print use to be alot more clear and there was more info in the past. Maybe coaches have gotten more lazy? Use to be alot more color pages. That's why I think they might be going the cheaper route with more and more black/white pages. Anyways, there's not much more out there and I will continue to buy, but it's just an observation. BTW, you know the Zane Young kid from Brock that is the coverboy for 3A grew up in Groves. Great family, doing big things up there.
-
That's it, I'm telling the Barbers Hill admins I want to start hearing our band play "neck". We gotta change some stuff up!!!
-
I hate to bash them, but quality is for sure lacking. Don't know if it's a money saving thing or what. The cost is over $11 now too. Lol
-
Not impressed with the print size. Alot of it is hard to read. Also, alot of older info for BH in there. Some kids have changed positions, etc. I noticed a couple schools they didn't have info on. I think one was KWP on returning starters, etc. Been buying this magazine since the late 80's and just seems to get weaker every year.
