Haven't seen Santa Fe HS play, but my son played against a lot of them in summer ball. they have some talent there, so I wouldn't write off Santa Fe yet. Hope PNG can pull it out.

Kids are for sure learning the complex system, but coach is letting them have fun. The kids appear to be loose, but eager to learn. Kids are competing and fired up. A new attitude is growing at The Hill! Film, strength training, numerous work stations and alot of contact. I've been impressed. We shall see going forward. My son told me a story about a D Line guy who had his chin split during full contact and blood squirting out. The kid starts yelling that he didn't have time to bleed and licks the blood from his hand. The kids went wild and started trying to knock each others heads off. Coaches had to make kid leave to get stitched up. Sounds positive. Lol

Crazy, I remember when we lived in Katy from 2001-2006, the tax rate was crazy. If I remember right, they passed numerous bonds during that time to build schools to keep up with the tremendous growth out there. My taxes and insurance were around $12k for a $170k home. I'm all for nice facilities whether it's schools or stadiums, but I think that's too extreme. You can build a very nice football stadium for 20-25 million that all 3 schools can play at IMO.
