BH and Crosby played tonight. Final BH 4 Crosby 3 -
Actually BH girls dominate this area. Boys I would say WOS or Silsbee.

When I say BH will compete, I'm not saying we will win a DC, but we will compete for a playoff berth. My goodness, we are good with competing for a playoff spot, we'll let ya'll beat your chest on DC. That's why we play the games, anything can happen and you can break it down for yourself, we'll just try hard and see where we land at the end of the season. Good luck to all in the off season (that's where it starts).

You started this whole deal. I just stated facts. BHISD tax rate 1.3298 Crosby ISD tax rate 1.670000 Umm, I think Crosby is higher on taxes, but my Beaumont math may be off. The academics is what makes outsiders leave because they can't hack the regimen put on them is what I was saying. You said high taxes, not high priced homes. There's a difference. I explained that BH is diverse, just not in YOUR eye's. We welcome everyone with open arms. The student your talking about mom works in the district. I bet she's not complaining cashing those checks. I'm sure if you asked 90% of HS kids that move before or after entering high school, they are going to say that they would rather be at thier old school due to friends, etc. I got the demographics from our district website and Crosby off of the internet, so it might be skewed. Heck, Beaumont schools are more diverse then your so called inner city Crosby. Back to football, BH will compete, and you can mark that down. BTW, seen ya'lls football stadium the other day and it's probably one of the nicest stadiums in the Houston area.

We have a large hispanic population. Our African American population is rising, but not to your liking. Property taxes are among the lowest in the Houston area. Academics is what gets most kids moving here no matter their color. You spew so many false things about BH. I didn't grow up here. But it's home now and we've been treated great. There's more move ins than people that are home grown. Good luck with your hate towards BH. BH 73% white 21% hispanic 3% African American 3% other You do realize Crosby is only 12% African American?

I don't think Kpark is going surprise people. They've had a quality program for a while. Now if Porter, Splendora, Caney Creek, or even Humble made the playoffs, that would be surprise. Heck even BH, since we haven't been to the playoffs the last 3 years. lol

I know coach has been working one on one with the QB's. There are quite a few playing this year that didn't play last year. The big question mark is who is going to emerge as the varsity QB next year. We'll be fine, I don't know about a DC, but there are some kids in our program that will keep BH competitive and hopefully grabbing a playoff spot. As a fan and parent of a kid in the program, I'm just looking forward to a new direction and excited to see what we can do. The rest will fall into place. Spring football will help the coaches gauge what they have to work with and go from there.

Deer Park 5, BH 1
-
BH 11 Langham Creek 7
-
GCM appears to be struggling. That's a huge surprise to me. I had them being one of the stronger teams. With that said, Katy Seven Lakes, Langham Creek, and Channelview are good ball teams.
-
BH 13 Bayton Lee 5 BH 4 Galveston Ball 3
-
BH Blake Cappadona, Rhett McCall, and Trevor Kitchen have been the hitters so far. Bryan Taylor (Nicholls St), Asa Thompson, Bryce Bonnin, Tyler Cooley, Jace Seymour, and Koby Emerson have been the top pitchers. BH has been playing good team baseball. Hopefully, it continues.
-
BH pulled away late in the game to win 9 to 3. BH is playing good ball right now with only loss to a really good Deer Park team.
-
BH 7 Clear Brook 3
-
Deer Park 6 BH 0 BH 9 Galveston Ball 0 BH 11 Pasadena Dobie 6

Coach Denny told the parents at the beginning of the year that the UIL is looking at implementing a pitch count next year at the high school level. I'm all for it, what's your thoughts?
-
I don't think they do. I'm only repeating what the kids were told. Don't know if it's Ridell, Schutt, etc. Just told Nike deal and 3 helmets
-
Not sure. Coach has hit the ground running though. They just ordered new weights and other stuff. Not sure on 7 on 7. Our Defensive Coordinator will be here soon. He's coming from Alabama.
-
I think so. I'm sure coming from the Allen area, he probably has connections. I was told it will be Oregon like stuff.
-
BH vs Lee on Monday was lopsided in favor of BH. Lee struggled, BH looked good I guess.

BH @ Atascocita 4PM Soph/JV Home vs. Atascocita 4 PM/6 PM
-
I know the baseball kids are itching to use it. They said a couple more weeks. It has drop down nets for hitting. Pretty cool. I was also told on the Nike deal that varsity will get 3 helmets. One for practice, one for away, and one for home. Times are changing for sure. Back in the day, you hoped the one given fit right. Lol It's 80 yards of field.

You can catch a glimpse of the new indoor facility and interview. [Hidden Content]

$12 million is what the indoor facility cost. We also have a new scoreboard and sound system being bought. Basketball just bought a new scoreboard and rumor is Nike is about to be part of BH. Getting rid of the ugly uniforms. Lol
