Alot of work ahead. It doesn't mean that BH will overnight be a success. The best part is the buzz that the kids are already talking about and it's all positive. Mindset is the first step of any successful program.Good things to come on the Hill.

I'm renting out spare bedrooms in my house. If you run a 4.3 40 and can play, ya'll live with me and mine for free! LOL

That's rumor, but nothing concrete. They've kept it sealed tight! -

Not hijacking the thread, but I noticed BH is having an open house on the new indoor facility this Saturday. I have a feeling they will name the BH new Head coach at that event. -

PAM may not make the playoffs in any sport dropping down to 5A. LOL -
This has been going on before Sumlin became coach at A&M. I remember when PNG graduate Dustin Long broke school records one year and seen himself the next year be second string and he transferred to Sam Houston. It happens at A&M alot at the QB position. Don't know why, but it does.
-
The superintendent said on twitter that there has been over 65 applicants for the position. Sure wish they would post the list for curiosity.

Look, I know he's a great coach, but unless he's bringing the starting offense and defense, I think your prediction what he would do at BH is a bit inflated. LOL
-
I just verified that he makes around $119,000. That guy is coming with a crazy number. LOL
-
I just off of the phone with someone close to him. His wife is a PE teacher there and when he was hired, he brought coaches and Administrators with him. I don't see him coming here, and your right, he already makes towards the top end of out $130,000. He is around $119,000. Carthage has money and won't let him go anyways. His next move will probably be college or something. I was told if I go to the game tonight that I would be given a sideline pass to talk to him. I told my buddy that I don't hold any clout for Barbers Hill so it would do no good. LOL Oh he did say that Carthage was going to beat the brakes off of Silsbee tonight. Silsbee fans, I have a wager on this game, so please don't let me lose my bet.

BH will pay $100,000 to $130,000. LOL $200,000? Maybe for Nick Saban
-
Traffic! Have you ever driven around The Woodlands during rush hour? lol
-
There won't be an announcement of the next head coach until the end of the playoffs. wink, wink

I was happy to hear that they are purchasing a new scoreboard and sound system for the stadium. That's long over due. It will have sponsor space on it, so I assume we will have big donors.
-
I think they have to leave it up for 10 days?
-
I was about to say the same thing GCMPATS. Also, the position pays between $100,00 to $130,000. Wonder how that stacks up to other areas as far as pay goes?
-
I'm confused! lol So, I guess we need to recruit players after we get another coach? Lol
-
judson probably not a good example. They get all of the army kids. That is the reason they do so well.
-
It's a dream to have a separate HC and AD, but I know it will be one. I just think if you can afford to do it, it works better imo.
-
How many of those went to elementary in Nederland? lol
-
Agree and disagree. First, years from 2001 through 2005 at Katy HS, they had good HS athletes, hardly any went D1 and that's a fact. Alot of kids to pick from, but not many D1. Second, BH is alot like PNG as in other ISSUES. Look when MB was forced out. That was community pissed off, same as how BH got with current coach. Don't know before that because I was at PNG and was there through the MB years. I understand it takes more then a good coach to be successful. My point was one, BH community needs to realize that a playoff spot is the goal, not state championships (won't happen) and two, a school can win and be successful without D1 talent.
