The Defensive Coordinator came in with the new coach. The changed the defensive scheme during two a days. I would “assume” that HS kids were trying to adjust to new assignments and schemes in a short period of time could cause some breakdowns in assignments throughout the year. As far as punting goes, I know in the past a lot of teams use QB because there’s times where they scan before kicking and may take off. I don’t care for short kick offs, but even teams with a lot more talent do it. Anyways, my .02

Are saying winner of Montgomery game or Texas high game? The winner of next next week plays for Region 3 finals. I would say that makes an impact.

This was a tough loss. Have to finish games out. Great season Eagles. Something to build on and hopefully we can find a QB with Holden graduating.

Biggest win since moving up to 5A. BH did all of the right things. Coaches got a handle on the issues, hats off to the staff. Hey if we don’t stall in red zone twice, this game would’ve been worse. Perfect game plan. Why not us? Another game next week!

When I seen kids going into the game with no helmet decals in 2Q, I knew it was a wrap. LOL That team was horrible, but I will say this. If you didn't watch them play and you were just looking at them, they were very athletic looking guys, and some of their skilled positions dudes are pretty good. I'm assuming it's zero coaching in HISD

There’s no doubt we did it to ourselves. I guess if I could use an excuse, it would be our HC didn’t come in till the summer, so kids were trying to learn a new offense and new defensive scheme starting during two a days. That’s tough to do and be successful, but personal foul penalties all year long and multiple ones each game is on coaches for not getting control of the kids. Of course this solely my opinion on the season and I was only at 7 of the 10 games.

At this point, it’s just a moral victory for Us to be in the playoffs. That and a weak district.

This team has shown up way more than the team that should’ve beat Crosby unfortunately.

I’m talking district wise. Crosby is a lot better then the rest of the teams in our district.

This district isn’t very good. Crosby and then everyone else.

I get that. Ridge Point is basically all Sienna Plantation, but Austin and Bush are the ones I thought would be 3k since they are the most northern and most western school where growth exploded. They butt up to that Lamar Consolidated ISD line, which is where you’re going to see multiple new HS in the next few years. In fact Lamar Consolidated ISD line goes north of I-10 west of Katy HS. They’ll end up like Katy ISD in the future.

It’s appears FB has been having declining numbers? FB hasn’t added a school in a while, but neighboring Lamar Consolidated ISD is exploding. I think they have another HS being built right now.

2018-2020 realignment for 5a 5A Division I: 1840 - 2189; 127 schools 5A Division II: 1150 - 1839; 125 schools 82+ on top D2, which would put top of D2 this alignment around 2,003 ish. BH and Crosby may stay D2 barely.
