if I was at the Vidor game last year and sitting on Crosby side thank you. LOL Crosby had fits with the Vidor offense, but their QB graduated so Crosby should be fine that's who ya'll get 1st round. 2nd round will be the booger for Crosby. If ya'll shore up a couple of issues, might be able to make a little run. Good luck rest of the season.

I have alot of friends in Crosby by the way. Crosby DB's struggles at times, WR's aren't the usual WR's that you're use to seeing to name a few. Overall speed isn't a typical Crosby team as well. Jayden QB? Isn't very big and I've noticed a lack of oline protection at times. Crosby has some pretty good teams in recent past, and I just don't see this years team as good as those. Of course with Squirrel in the backfield, I think will give Marshall all they want, unless they shut down the run game.

Yea, looked back, I think PNG holds a 7-3 advantage over the "Mecca", maybe that was before the acclaimed "Mecca era". Anyways, back to topic FB Marshall puts Crosby out Again in the 2nd round.

Ned is land locked, no way their numbers will be D1

Last realignment PAM 2,098 Ned 1,596 Central 1,471 That's a big gap. I think 5A D1 will start around 1,700. I don't see 5A D1 starting around 1,400 or 1,500.

I read where UIl wanted 7 or 8 team districts, so I'm sure there will be more teams added.

Which will possibly make them one of the smallest 6a schools next realignment. BISD needs to do some rezoning and have all 3 5a schools.

Maybe, depends on what numbers they turn in. I also think bottom number raises to around 1200, which might effect Lumberton and couple of others. Of course this just chopping it up, who knows what the UIL will actually do. I do think there'sgoing to be alot of shaking up and more travel than this part of the state is use to.

Here's what I came up with. 5A D1 New Caney, Porter, Kingwood Park, Caney Creek, Lufkin, Conroe Grand Oaks (JV 2018, Varsity 2019 5A, next realignment 6A) PA Memorial, Baytown Lee, Galena Park, GCM, La Porte, Friendswood 5A D2 BH, Dayton, PNG, Vidor, Nederland, Lumberton, Ozen Crosby, Splendora, Livingston, Huffman, Cleveland

Looking around at area football teams and scores, and it would appear that not a lot of defense is being played. It may have to do with the type of offenses that are being ran and the majority of the coaches are doing the same thing. Stack the offense with your best players and play bend, but don't break defense with average HS players. With all that being said, what's up with all of the penalties this year? Does it seem like it's a flag happy year? Asking for a friend. LOL

I think you will see atleast 8 team districts next realignment. Anything is possible, but Think Ned, PNG, Vidor, and Central will be in the same district together.

The new realignment is going to have Cleveland and Hiffman probably in 5A D2, which going to push some teams over to 22-5a.

Rumor has it BH, Crosby, and Dayton are coming over in that district. If true, you are going to have a heck of a district. Central, Ozen, Vidor, PNG, Ned, Crosby, BH, Dayton in the same district. Only question would be Lumberton.

Not a playoff team. I'm talking about all these past years, early exit. Once again, it was directed to the almighty Crosby fans that put down every team in the viewing area. If y'all are or have been so great, what's the excuse that y'all continue to get ousted in the second round? You have to win 5 games to get to the ship and 6 to win it all. If you win one or two, I would think any normal person would say that's an early exit. Once again, it's my belief after watching Crosby twice this year that it will be another early exit.

We don't hype up our football team to be the world beaters, Crosby does. So when you pound your chest and get beat in the playoffs, everyone on this site is happy. Any other team, WOS, PNG, heck even PAM, we root for to go far, but not Crosby, wonder why?

I'm waiting for the excuse on the early exit every year?

If you look back at the last 4 or 5 years Crosby gets lucky because our district has some big schools compared to 22-5a. The big schools that go from 21-5a isually struggle against 22-5a. Crosby has win district several years in row and usually get a team struggled to get in. If it was still the 2 team playoff, PNG or PAM would be putting them out first round most years. That's why you see them out 2nd or 3rd round every year.

Howard is a Junior and not close to Johnson. Now saying that, I think RJ has better receivers than Howard has.

Don't matter because we aren't the Mecca. Lol I'm good where we're at as a program. As long as we're in the hunt for playoffs, that's all we expect. We realize that we don't have all of the D1 athletes. What's y'alls excuse? I'll wait.........
