Oh, I know. Lol No problem

Oh, I get all of that Ballboy96. I have my 2019 on paper from the showcase from them showing the Velo. He was 82 mph from 3rd to 1st, 82 mph from OF, and pitching was 82 mph on fastball. I thought it was odd that all three were the same speed, but whatever. I'm just glad we have a baseline to start with. We play for a team in Houston for Summer ball, so we have options. I just didn't know some of the ins and outs on recruiting. I agree with you though on dad's talking Velo because I personally know some folks with inflated numbers. That's the reason why I had him go to a showcase and get it from a respectable 3rd party. lol

Kind of new to the recruiting thing. Guess trying to get input from others that went through the recruiting process. We are currently working the smaller schools angle, NAIA, D3 (no athletic scholarship) right now. Probably going backwards, but watching other people, they are wanting D1 only. I think mine isn't at that level all the way around, not consistent enough. Hopefully, he can get numbers up and get in front of the right people. Have a couple of prospect camps on our schedule coming up at specific colleges, so maybe that will help. I've noticed some very successful kids in the golden triangle that didn't get anything until late senior year, that's what worries us. Anyways, I'm rambling. LOL

Had a kid just finish up a showcase and got velo numbers for IF, OF, and pitching. All three were in the 80's. He will be a Junior this year. Are these decent numbers for the recruiting scene? Trying to get some input. The IF velo was from 3rd not SS.

The "Atmosphere" is getting warm on this board. Lol

Jaiden Howard is going to emerge this year. I thought last year though, Crosby was a little conservative with him throwing short slants, screens, etc. Maybe it was because we played ya'll so early in the season. I never really seen him throw the long ball. I do think he's pretty talented though. Should be fun to watch this year.
-
BH will have a pretty tall and good WR corp, not sure if they'll be in the top of district though. I know we have depth there. I guess we're about to find out.
-
He played with my son for 4 years starting at 9 years old. He's not a recent move in. You have ignore the goofiness that's being spewed. Lol
-
I misread somehow. Disregard. Lol
-
Disregard, my mistake. Lol

BH shouldn't be ranked ahead of PAM, that's kind of laughable really. We'll be decent this year, but don't see us better than PAM.
-
Pakronos, How you gonna do Shug like that. Last year as a Sophomore, he got PNG to the third round. The same amount of rounds as PAM made it to after bumping down from 6A. If you're an athlete, you're an athlete know matter black, white, whatever. You keep bouncing around the race deal. PNG doesn't get anymore Regional or state exposure as PAM. Heck, look at the athletes that's came out of PA, now look at PNG? You're argument that Shug is getting more exposure because he goes to white school is laughable. College coaches go to where the athletes are no matter the make up of the team. He did run into a buzzsaw against PAM, but what helps Shug is his grades. If you're a really good athlete with tremendous grades, guess what schools are going slobber over you. Sounds like you got some jealousy my man. Now, I'll take a seat and eat my popcorn to see what you spit out next.

Roschon Johnson commits to The University of Texas

Ohio St, Florida St, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, SMU, North Carolina, SFA, Penn St, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma, Lamar, Florida, and A&M. Probably missing some. Lol -
If it happens this way, Baytown Lee needs to drop it's football program!

Bronco94, I don't think people fear BH, but I do think our system worries most district foes. Now, Dayton on the other hand, everybody knew that when Stewart left that it would knock ya'll down a couple of notches. Until the new coach can get ya'll back on track, expect people to lob jabs. One or two things will happen after this year, either you're going to beat your chest or you'll delete you're account from the overload of posts if ya'll fall flat on your face. All of the smack talk, you better hope them boys back it up. lol

I didn't see best program of all time. The question was who is the best program? I figured the last decade would be relevant. Hardware is for sure the #1 reason, but after that, you have to include playoff wins IMO.
-
My decade teams since 2006 1. WOS 2. Newton 3. Kirbyville 4. Coldspring 5. Dayton 6. East Chambers 7. West Brook 8. PAM 9. PNG 10. Nederland Just because teams are ranked above for better programs doesn't mean they would beat the lower teams head to head. Talking playoff trips, how deep they went, etc for their respective classification.
-
Beaumont will never consolidate to one school, never. Too many politics from all sides of town.
-
West Brook can't be second for one major reason. Playoff wins. I'm a product of West Brook and I can tell you that in the early 90's when WB had some of the best talent around would go 10-0 in the regular season and lose the first playoff game. I remember WB cruising through the regular season multiple times only to lose in the 1st round of the playoffs. I don't care what classification of competition your playing at, if you can't consistently win atleast a couple of playoff games most years, you can't expect to be in the talks of top program in the area. Also, WOS plays every year with almost no depth on their roster meaning they are fortunate if they even have 2 deep at every position.
-
WOS, everybody else #2. Next question
-
Settle down, it was joke. Y'all will be last in team D this year though.:)

He likes the "D"! Lol
