  1. Seriously, if you need the baseball fix and chomping for recruiting information or baseball knowledge from a wide range of baseball guys, go to hsbaseballweb.com. I've found some good info there.
  2. Just a disclaimer, my post was sarcasm above^^^^^^^^^^^^, but is thrown around alot at high school baseball parks.
  3. HS ball don't matter, only summer ball does......lol
  4. I hope no WOS fan takes this wrong, but at the 5a and 6a level, Houston area has some really good football teams every year and appears there's new schools popping up every year at these levels. Beaumont area has to play those schools first couple of rounds and IMO is the reason for the quick exit from playoffs. WOS in the playoffs usually has a lot easier matchups until 4 or 5 rounds. With that being said, WOS could hang or beat most 5a schools in the area.
  5. My theory is the kids that played in the 80's and 90's stayed in the community as well as extended family and they continue to reproduce really good football genes in Orange. My theory is also that WOS has a lot more really good athletes than the majority of 4a schools. It just so happens their population shrunk, but kept the same amount of good athletes. That along with some good coaching and champion mindset. That's my attempt at WOS formula. lol
  6. Reagan, this years teams from 21-5a and 22-5a were quality teams. Some won come playoff time and others didn't. There is quality players and coaches in these districts. Unfortunately, 5a and 6a in our area have struggled to get deep in the playoffs. The area still turns out good college players. I found that as the years go on, there's an abundance of really good teams you have to face in the playoffs. Some area's get two rounds of nobody's to play in the playoffs. This area has drawn the short straw for a while where you're playing some of better teams in 2nd round.
  7. Curious to see if OU extends an offer since he and his pops were there this weekend for the Okie St game.
  8. Dang, never met Liltex, but seemed like a standup guy. RIP Liltex and prayers to the Dayton community and his family.
  9. That's how it use to be at WB, of course that was 25 years ago. Lol
  10. Yea, there's 2 divisions and two teams go right. So in 5 years, our two districts had 20 chances and 2 have gotten past 3rd round? Like I said, the two districts struggle to win consistantly starting 3 round and beyond.
  11. PNG will be good next year, but College Station returns QB and RB next year. Don't see anyone from our area beating them next year.
  12. Welcome to 5A PAM, SETX have trouble 2nd and 3rd round almost every year at 5A level. Someone needs to get over hump!
  13. Not sure, I'm one of the one's that left early. Lol
  14. CS way too strong for the Indians tonight. Defense had a tough task against a jaugernaut offense with some men on the Oline. CS Defense wasn't that great, but PNG fizzled out in 2nd half. Great season Indians.
  15. Westerberg isn't leaving the Hill. He lives 3 houses down from me. Now maybe in 5 years. I think TRS takes top 5 years. After that, who knows.
  16. Good luck NDN's, I will be in the stands cheering for ya'll!
  17. I was at the game. North Shore was alot smaller, but made the plays. Great game by both teams.
