BH finally got it going. TD BH! 13-12 BH with 2:00 left in 1Q. Having a hard time with running QB.

-
Humble scored, missed xrra pt. Tied 6-6

I don't think BH will have that. It will be a dirt mound probably and everything else turf. The lower levels is like that though.
-
They should call this the "Cajun Bowl" since alot of the people from PNG/PA originate from Louisiana. Ya'll could wear shirts that say "Beat The Cooyon's" lol
-
Same thing with us at QB position. We played two kids that have never played QB in thier life. Both share playing time each possession. I know that one will for sure be switching to defense next year, but they needed someone to help at QB on JV since our Soph QB was on varsity. Both have done decent jobs for never playing that position. It will all change next year.

Barbers Hill isn't too far either. I've always wondered why they don't build turf fields around Ford Park for 14-18 year olds. There's quite a few kids this way that play HS travel teams in Houston that would play with ya'll if it was out around Ford Park. We're half way betwwen Houston and Beaumont in no mans land. Lol

BH softball and baseball getting it as we speak, Crosby got it over the summer, and I just read PNG is getting it also.
-
Heck, our elementary schools are busting the seems. 2020 is when you should start seeing a noticeable increase at BH.
-
I'm just messing around. We didn't look good tonight. Humble JV has big fast kids. Alot of late hits too by them. Have ya'll played them yet?
-
Humble JV 25 BH JV 16 Super close game 19-16 late 4th Q and we throw a pick 6. Very physical game and some suspect ref stuff. Lol
-
I called it. I said Crosby was atleast 2 TD's better. Lol
-
^^^^^This is what I think PAM will see alot because of their aggressive defense.

True, but most of the starters will be back. We should be able to add depth and some may find themselves in starting roles. We should be solid again next couple of years.

I have to agree with what 14.2 said. Not bashing Dayton, but his assessment is point on whether you like it or not. BH gets the majority of their starters back next year and I mean almost all of them. I think Nations being out of the coaching realm has hurt this year. Whether or not he's able to change some things up next year is yet to be seen. I'm sure he's a great guy, but if you look at the penalties that Dayton get's in games, play calling, scheme's etc.. you do have to scratch your head and ask yourself questions. This isn't intended to bash Dayton at all, but like Bronco Pride stated, before Stewart, ya'll were struggling and over night became a perennial playoff team and one that teams feared. It's almost like ya'll took a huge step back. If it's the same next year, It wouldn't surprise me to hear a lot of chatter from Dayton folks about the HC position. Might look for a DC in the off season to shore up the D to begin with IMO.

Didn't realize they went point diff first. Interesting it doesn't go head to head first.
