FBM was pretty legit last year to almost pull it off as well. I’m watching football Friday on Bally right now. Can’t wait til they talk about this game tonight though! Woohoo!

My esteemed colleague gave an interesting take: Let's run through the football part of it though. I watched the FBM vs Madison game last night for my own research purposes and came away with the opinion that BH isn't near the underdog they look like on paper. For one, even though it's an away game BH will have more fans than FBM which helps mitigate some of the homefield advantage.

FBM vs Crosby was probably a better matchup for Crosby if they win get past round 2

Nobody is taking anything away from him, they’ve needed just about every yard the kid has gotten. Some kids only played half the qtrs he did because the games were out of reach. There are some bad defenses in this district and he did a great job running the ball against them.

When you have to play all 4 qtrs you tend to run up stats to be the district rushing leader. Some players on other teams are done at the half in a lot of games and trying to stay healthy for next week. Just a thought. Sounds like you’re a little salty.

The problem with the fake punt is they actually huddled up before running it(first time all night they huddled up on a punt). Element of surprise was gone.

When Crosby turned up the heat to start the second half they ran down Nederlands throat and you got a garbage td late to make it interesting with the back ups in. Damn near got your qb killed on the last possession.

Nah just call it right, that’s all. These guys seem clueless. Hopefully a bad call doesn’t decide it either way.
