Honestly my answer to that is it very difficult to go far when you can’t stop teams defensively. A shootout every week and all you need is one mistake. Whether all the talent is on one side or you don’t have the personnel on that side of the ball or if it’s the scheme. Offensively though they have been stellar. I was wondering yesterday after RJ and Bost took snaps at UT and TAMU what high school could say that? To have their last two QB’s take snaps at those schools on the same day is pretty impressive.

Makes you wonder why they haven’t done better in the past how many years. Where’s Stat at, maybe he can elaborate!

Last week Manvel had a stout RB that was difficult to tackle but their O line was also better. All about matchups, I think all in all though the Defense is playing pretty well. Special teams though, whew!!!! Needs some work!

It seems like a lot of Football coaches leave that school district. Does it happen in other sports or just football?

After 3 weeks of football last year there probably were 0 people on here that thought Crosby would run that gauntlet in the region and play for the title, very few thought that would happen after the Nederland loss. Not many thought they would win state in the 4 X 100 last year. Football team caught that lightening in a bottle, the track kids were just fast, dedicated, and worked their hind ends off. Now, I don’t think right now anyone believes they’ll play for a title this year, but the Coach is figuring things out and we’ll see how far they go.

I think they ran #5 side to side for 3 1/2 qtrs and that could’ve been why the run was successful late in the 4th. The QB from Crosby went down awkward right before the end of the half then the cramps came. Without him being able to run the offense was worse than it was in the 1st half. You can’t get 5 turnovers and only score 17 points especially when one of those was a scoop and score, I agree with that. Personally I’m hoping the run game is going to be solid to give the D some time off the field, but this week is going to be tough!
