I'm thinking 2-2. Not sure anyone from this district beating Longview or Forney in a 1st round game this season on the road (if Forney beats McNorth today)
It probably comes down to matchups in the 2-3, 3-2 games. How is the tie-breaker looking in our district?

And you left out the part OLDawg has not had a good thing to say about BH all year, so what would anyone expect? Just SSDD. Do the math.
A Crosby guy whining about a last second BH TD against LP. OMG Don't you have enough to worry about? LOL.
Literally missed the comprehension again. It’s about playoff seeding not his disdain for BH!

Discussing a very significant team issue that definitely affected any teams performance is not "crying about it". Anytime any team would have as many injuries as BH did during that stretch there would be a discussion about it. It's news. Contrary to what you want to believe, it was never used as any excuse when BH lost to the mighty LaPorte. One last time for you: LAPORTE WON HANDS DOWN!!! Happy?
As far as you supporting PAM, have at it. We expect that. No one ever supports BH outside of BH. But OMG please spare the ridiculous claim "its not anything against BH". Thats just laughable.
BTW I hope LP felt welcomed and enjoyed playing in Eagle Stadium this year. I am sure someone somewhere appreciated it.
You left this part out of your quote from OlDAWG, typical you though.
“ Just want no part of a possible 3-way tie scenario with the gimme last second TD the refs gave BH in the LP game.”
Doesn’t want anything to do with a possible 3-way tie. Seems like it not anything against Barbers Hills and makes pretty good sense. The logic is pretty solid, but reading and comprehension is fundamental, some of us(YOU) come up short in that category I guess.
-
Come playoff time PAM is going to need to get off to a better start in the first half in my opinion. They take over in the second half true, but if they dig too big a hole it could be disastrous.

It’s tough to watch, it’s pretty much the same thing every week. At least this week the kids seemed to know where to line up I guess and special teams played better.

No. I dont want to get on a particular kid too much but he's not a QB. They should try something else. Bring up the freshman and let him run around and try to make something happen.
From what I’ve seen(just on Friday nights) they just don’t have the speed, depth, or just overall talent to compete. Combine that with the late start(kids still don’t know where to line up) and you get a recipe for a really bad season. Besides the rb’s(one is not completely healthy) and a couple of other players, if they all went to Barbers Hill, not many of the Crosby kids would even start over there. This might ruffle some feathers, but that’s what I see.

Y’all’s QB is a good athlete and a heck of a baseball player, but he’s no throwing QB. Crosby needs to run 90% of the time and then short passes here and there.
If you take a closer look, there’s not 1 Receiver that actually gets separation. Best throwing play all season has been across the middle to the TE. He’s actually been pretty accurate this year. On the pick 6 right before halftime, the intended receiver didn’t even look back for the ball.

At least they got a td out of it I guess

Typical PA. Smh.
Crosby has 1 TO left lol

9:47 left in the 3rd qtr and you have 1 timeout left. That might come back to haunt em.

Where not too shabby on the top of the district. Crosby thinking everyone is down makes the feel better, i guess.
I would say for the most part the #1 seed has a chance but 1-3 or 0-4 is a possibility. That other district is pretty legit it seems. As far as this game, geez, every really big play was a run and you’re up 24-21, get a first down and then try to be greedy. Halftime you're down now. Really don’t understand why you don’t run the ball and run time off the clock there. Misdirection has been very effective for Crosby so you probably won’t see much of that in the 2nd half.

I hate this smh. We are so much better.

I think they’ll end up being fine, but honestly they need to quit dancing and showboating after making a normal play.

Was a little low on scoring total. I think I said less than 50. Not too far off though. Much better than somebody’s 60 something to 28. 😆
You were right. Sounds like a great game to watch. High school football is awesome!

I just looked at the rest of Crosby schedule, I think at best they finish 4-6, at worst 2-8. (They'll beat RSS and GCM, the KP and Porter games will be interesting due to their QBs)
2-8

Going to wade back in as an outsider into this discussion. I will be shocked if LP makes BH punt the ball at all while the game is still in doubt. Lee had guys running wide open down field multiple times and just couldn't connect which is why Lee isn't as good as BH or LP. After seeing BH against Crosby(was watching both games at the same time) I don't think BH is going to be over throwing and under throwing those wide open balls down the field. Unless they get stuck with a penalty and some mishandling of the ball, I don't see a scenario where BH gets stopped this game. I would expect 4 or more 50 plus yard touchdowns passes.
I don't think BH will have the same difficulty with this running game as they did with Crosby. This one is more about assignments whereas you could have all the guys in the right assignments and #2 and #14 for Crosby will just plow over a guy and juke quickly around another. LP has guys that are going to get the yards that are there but not a lot more.
They have to have it blocked up and executed properly to get their 5 yards each time. I don't see that as being sustainable against BH.
You’re pretty accurate with a lot of your assessments, BH was missing a lot on defense, if they can get a couple back, it probably won’t be close.

Wouldn’t be surprised to even see some true Wing T in selected spots. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them use it in a couple key instances. The RB situation is definitely stocked for the possibility.
What I’ve enjoyed so far (getting into the weeds I know) is watching LP’s NG & the OL (#74) has been fun. The Texans could learn some stuff from LP’s OL. Ha!
I know we always focus on the skill players. But, these guys (OL) are talented & have had a year plus in the new schemes now. They’re starting to put it together. As they go, so goes LP.
I think LP will score, but your defense will definitely need to play well. It’s going to be a fun game to watch. Good look to y’all and hopefully everyone is healthy afterwards.

If you were smart enough to read between the lines, the play call I was talking about is what you’re going to see a lot of Friday night, but you’re not

True, but BH was starting to limit his production mid second quarter though. We wouldn’t have completely shut him down , but just by the fact that he was knocked out of the game twice shows we weren’t going to let him beat us. Coaches made some great adjustments with what they had.
I kept saying is there any playing in the playbook like a counter where 14 would get the ball away from where 2 was going, but then again they still can’t even line up lol.

I’ve gotta quit replying you lol, after everything I try and post comes up is a reply. This game will have a huge impact on playoff seeding for this district. Hopefully y’all can get healthy especially on defense.

If one guy makes up 100% of your offense then yeah shutting out Crosby in the second half was nothing. Hope he heals so Crosby can score again
Well, how many points did they score after he went out?
