I'm sure with all of the film that the coaches watched they had no clue either. Maybe just maybe RP was much a much better team. Just like this year with New Caney. You'd think they'd be tired of flipping those big tractor tires by now. VIDOR just plays until the end of the echo of whistle and you can't retaliate. It's the plays that happen that are 25-30 yards from the play when the fouls just make you shake your head.

Errrrr, I discuss your team every week with friends from Groves, actually went to the 1st round volleyball playoff game in Crosby. I'm well aware of Bost being the backup QB and 3rd baseman in baseball. He's a good athlete. The comparison was from a game Crosby play against Porter without their anchor on defense (which that would be LL), without Netherly(which that would be RJ), and without Squirrel(so I said pick any other dominant offensive player). I just stated if you guys played Central without them they would've rolled you.

Yes they are, but you know deep down without RJ you know what would happen.

It's not that it was 3 injuries when Crosby lost to Porter, its who the injuries were keeping out. You take away Lejune, your QB , and one more stud on offense and play Central. You'd get rolled. Next man up thing is cool in theory but sometimes, certain players can be replaced, but their production can't be.

Another quick question, if Westbrook had dropped down to 22-5A would that had helped the strength of your district?

Crosby knew going in that was going to be a fight with VIDOR, they just beat a team that is similar to them the week before. PAM dropping down, you can pencil them in for a win next year also so it does help overall because it raises the level of play in your district. So instead of having Lumberton in the playoffs, you had PAM.

Having PAM drop in classification helped that district all around. It'd probably be 3-1 again this year but that is "what ifs". Having competitive games sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for the next update was entertaining to say the least. After next week, I hope 3 teams are still playing, NC is in for the business but I'd the two districts have 3 teams in the 3rd round that would be awesome.
