The first one jumped on my neck and I hadn’t noticed them until then, scared the ish outta me. Crazy how many there were.

The momentum shifted for sure when #2 limped off after the first play in the second half. Crosby still had a decent drive, but it ended with a turnover on downs around BH 25. Lack of depth definitely hurt Crosby, but the first half they got the turnover deep, but Crosby probably led the Time of Possession, BH scored in like 3 plays a couple of times, I guess they got tired of chasing a big play. One of the biggest issues I see is neither the offense nor the defense know where to line up or what routes to run on offense. I also was looking for some kind of counter play on offense when #2 healthy and give it to #14 in some misdirection because BH was swarming to #2 late in the 2nd qtr. They had already adjusted late in that qtr. it was a good high school game to watch in my opinion, just a couple of suspect(borderline dirty) plays, one by each team. Hopefully the kids that got banged up on both sides get healthy quick, but I suspect #2 from Crosby has some issues with that foot.

It’s kind of difficult when a pass play is called and your receivers are blocking for a run play(more than 1 occasion tonight) and several routes were run incorrectly. Product of starting so late I guess.

Does Beaumont also have that pay structure and for example a coach at LCM or PNG make considerably more than what they can make in Beaumont?

This is equivalent to BAMA playing Florida A&M, tonight is a step up in competition that your preseason may not have prepared BH for. Just don’t do any on side kicks and everything will be good. COOGS in a blowout!

Barbers Hills Suck

That district is brutal, Lancaster lost last night. Honestly looking at the playoff picture, I feel like our district might go 1-3. It’s still early though and matchups could dictate, but that district is tough man.

Wasn’t Lancaster ranked pretty high also? Dang, is that district the toughest in the state at 5A?

I hope that LB for BH plays, I like the way he attacks the football. That son of a gun has mean nasty mentality that I love. I don’t see it being close, but when teams don’t like each other, you never know.

Honestly their talent level is down with the exception of about 4-5 kids. The D-Coordinator seems to me like he’s in over his head at this point. With that being said, they also got a really late start, after next week we’ll see where they are at but I expect a blood bath.

Their O line is pretty good, they’ve got some decent skill position players as well. Kicker seems solid, punting I don’t think was that good, but the defense is suspect. They also gotta stay healthy, I don’t think they are very deep. They definitely could sneak up on someone though. Can’t tell much from last week though, they beat a bad Crosby team.
