...one less game from how far MECCA went last year, that's all....
how's the play calling this year?

He needs to just keep doubting his coaching and stop even worrying bout 21-5A, cause they've been how far in the (my Jim Mora voice) playoffs in the past few years!

I walk around on crutches all of the time, I like to practice just in case I need to actually do it. Nothing to see here.

High ankle sprain got the Kobe Bryant treatment? Flew in that doctor from Germany, Crosby borrowed Barbers Hill jet.
Just tweaked a little I guess, precautionary reasons Friday night. The season begins now so no reason to leave him in there. Important thing is he'll be out there Friday night and I'll change my prediction to Crosby by a lot!

Is Netherly playing?
No doubt

Still think Crosby wins, until the scoreboard shows different.

I'm hoping for a fake punt on your own 13 again this week.
-
Full strength this game isn't close. It'll be interesting because of that one dynamic. What people don't realize about Crosby is this defense is actually pretty darn good. As a colleague of mine stated last night, "salty". One thing I've noticed is they tackle well. I'll say this, fake punt against at your own 13 against a team you know you're gonna beat by 40 no matter what is a bit different what you're going to run up against this week.

You shouldn't just said Manvel. Like I've said before, Reagan/Heights is just your typical HISD school. They'll only be a little better than some of their district mate, which is probably other HISD schools...
Typical HISD School with a couple of 4 and 3 star players?

I left at halftime, any update?

True. Like Swampmuts go 2 deep 1 year then out in 1st round the next.
Like central goes... Oh never mind.
Dude, you need to put some Respeck on the 1950 something state champs!

A couple of things jumped out at me were Manvel goes up 9 late in the 3rd and go for two(why) and then score in the 4th late and they are up by 5 and kick the extra point. They are really good, but little stuff like that might get you sent packing late in the year.

It was a joke because before Poole got hired at BH, he was high up at UIL. Crosby loves to jump on bandwagons. We atleast went and played at Vidor. Remember, Crosby refused to do so several years ago.
Just like he had a lot to do with the brothers not playing last year. Karma

1. Nobody gets on Nederland for their field conditions.
2. I was wondering how the Hill scored so many points, they're just better in the mud I guess.
3. Safety of the kids my arse, just glad nobody tore anything playing on that.
4. How dare it rain so much, I mean people in Baton Rouge died, so we definitely have our priorities straight because the "best" band in Texas couldn't play!

Dayton by a lot!

I'm not a band guy, but I'm hoping whoever was first runner up for drum major is ready to assume that role.

Never an issue about respect- it is a given. All I'm saying is both teams will improve. Mr BG will agree that the run defense for the past 4 yrs at Manvel was lacking- I think the tide is turning in that regard and will only improve. Would love to see last years offense with what I believe is the best defense that Manvel has had. Having put 2 kids through Manvel, this year may be special.

by USA beatjunglist Last PostAAfter watching the first half, my first post was, "too many studs" that's how I started it off. I know how good the Manvel coaching staff is also because after the first play from scrimmage and Manny went house call, they adjusted to that play. Manvel is going to make some noise no doubt, I also truly believe that if they are D2, so could Crosby.

Crosby beats Manvel in a giant beat down IF they are healthy-drink that koolaid, lol! Manvel just like Crosby isn't even in mid - season form . I'm all for supporting your own team but no way Crosby threatens Manvel. Manvel's o and d lines set the tone- and in typical Manvel fashion, they let off the gas. We respect Crosby, just not in the same ballpark for 4 qrtrs. This is a young Manvel team compared to years past. Some want to say something about enrollment numbers. How much bigger was Northshore and Pearland compared to Manvel? Manvel was 2-2 against NS and 3-1 against Pland.
Ummmmm, you must understood Liltex on what he was saying. He was comparing Crosby teams from this year to a couple of years ago. Plus Tex is a Dayton guy, but supports 21-5a I'll say. If you look at the post, most Crosby folks gave Manvel the utmost respect. Probably the best front seven Crosby will see all year no matter how deep they go in the playoffs (if div 2). That #3 in the secondary was physical. You can't tell me though if that fumble is recovered at Manvels 10 yard line early in the second half, it could have changed a lot in that game?
-
I know the young kid was able to scramble once out of done pressure, but that Manvel D line was legit, their second wave of D linemen was better that anything they will face in district. He got out of some situations just because he is a freak. If you look at it, he was never able to set his feet and actually throw the ball. For the record, the one he over threw Craig wouldn't have counted anyway because of the holding penalty. Speaking of penalties, 50 yards away from the play and all of the blocking below the waist put them in horrible situations all night.

Your district is so bad this year it's hard to judge by playing anyone from over there. Vidor is probably equal to what KP is going to be in 21-5A this year. We'll see how they look against that level of competition but they actually open district play @Crosby in two weeks.
What do you think BH/KP score will be? Just a guess

Defense do have a chance to be really good. Hopefully they can clean a couple of things up. Start week 3 healthy and don't look back. Now they have some film to study from this year when they meet some quality teams in the playoffs.

I read the replies on the tweet. One appears to be from another BC player who says no one responded to that message. Well, that's the issue and why this stuff still happens. You all should've responded setting that person straight who sent it. What is really sad is it is 2016 and this crap is going on and personally I think the WOS coach will stick to his game plan and rest his players once they are up comfortably. He's to classy of a guy and to risk an injury proving a point when they've got winning another trophy as a goal, but boy that first qtr might be a rough one for the cardinals. The "atmosphere" is going to be electric. Good thing they are a "disciplined" football team to take this whooping. Anybody see what I did there?
