Not sure why you quoted me. Its a 50/50 split for him. He doesnt have the talent pool he had at Allen but he also will not be playing against teams he was playing there. But the teams he will be playing here have a better talent pool then he has at BH.
I was just quoting you because I'm glad you said it, I have Cougar in my name so I didn't want to bring it up first. I would've been labeled as a hater. I agree with your assessment.

So what happens when BH only wins 5 games per season the next couple seasons.
You mean it's easier to win with lots of 3, 4, and 5 star recruits than no stars at all? Interesting. Seriously though, interesting to see if the move ins start happening. Just for gp the other day my girlfriend was looking at houses in that area this past weekend. Sticker price was $370K, ummmm okay. Gonna need a little more affordable housing in that area.

i know GCCISD and BH districts are always competing. Its going to be tough to see how the GCM tops the BH head football coach hire.
I don't think GCM will come close to the BH hire, I mean who would it have to be to have that wow factor we got yesterday?

This goes back to a few topics about why one area is ahead of southeast Texas in football. My personal opinion is money and facilities then enrollment. Landing this guy from one of the national power houses says a lot for the area. He comes in and gets a few move ins, then starts winning, other school districts may take note and start improving facilities, pay, etc. I think it's great for football here in the area and hopefully it starts a trend. Congrats to the Hill for catching a big fish.

Ole Jerra got bigger things that he's working on like whether or not he's gonna fire Garrett and go after Sean Payton.

Ive been saying for years.......BH has been about 5-6 BLACK (Yes, I said it....BLACK) KIDS away from being a real threat in 5a. With this caliber of coach coming in and the type of money to be made for potential 4/5 star kids (dads and moms in a very growing community) ; you will now see those "skill" players or as sports analysts who are extremely politically correct refer to them as "ATHLETES" WE ALL know what that means. More black skills players = more play makers = more dynamic. Give me the white chunky kids on the line, a mobile QB that can sling it. and 2-3 backs and I'll show you an offense that can't be stopped.
Newsflash - BH will be back in the spread like they were in 2000-2003 and this time, it will look a little different.
They've had 2-3 backs sometimes 4

I've seen the term "Saban's doghouse", the players elected to send him home so it's a bigger issue than being in Saban's doghouse. Says a lot when your teammates vote that way.

Crosby and Nederland never had an issue in a 7 on 7 game. Unfortunately Crosby and PNG have, which is what he's referred to several times on here. I think Ned cares about 7 on 7 as much as Crosby does, so I highly doubt their fans would drive over an hour to sit in the scorching sun to watch PNG play touch. Pretty easy to pick out, I'm just hoping Stattrax or CougarCal can identify him.
nah, no clue, not relevant just a troll

I think Coach H is doing a great job with the program.. He cares about the kids...
And saving the school district money, I read that from his interview, he's excited about that part of it. Not about dominating PNG for years to come!
-
With all due respect, lets quit talking about the past.. Lets look towards the future... I see PAM as a Lumberton type of contender in the district. With less coaching....
oh no he didn't, wait for it, in 3, 2, 1....

absolutely!!
if anyone read the Splendora article, one ift he things the coach said was there needed to be an upgrade in the facilities. They gotta spend more money to upgrade things so when people are moving in to the area, they want to go there. Location is also a key factor with the job market. What people fail to realize though, when you get that community because you have the seats in the stadium, the program makes more money so you can hire or keep good coaches because you're bringing in more $$$. So upgrading, spending money in the facilities especially at the 5-6A level is necessary.

Quote still jacked up, Soulja, there is still a lot of talent there. The kids that'll be back I'm pretty sure didn't like that feeling this past Saturday. They'll continue to work, hopefully stay healthy, and be back next year. Just keep grinding, that's all you can do.
Alright, I've finally cleared up the quote that kept coming up for the tradinup person. That joker came up every time I was trying to post. Stattrax, when you look at the body of work the past few years, even though there are some second round losses. The program has improved, the kids are stronger, the stadium upgrade, the community support has probably tripled or quadrupled, and more kids are going to College. So in my eyes, it's headed in the right direction.

Here we go, Crosby fans can't take the heat so they are going to lash out at everyone. Guys, there's a reason why everyone is taking jabs at ya'll. Do you not realize that ya'll picked a fight with almost every team on this site during the football season. Ya'll literally put every school down on here and was serious about it. Most posters on here have been around since 2008 and poke fun with each other, but Crosby took it to a different level. Everyone is just dishing it back to ya'll. I forsee this thread getting locked. LOL

It's a lot different when you come in to a season unranked with a chip on your shoulder. Everything lines up, good leadership, health, team chemistry, match ups, etc. This year came with high expectations and a high ranking. The target was firmly planted and week in and week out, they got everyone's best shot. Losing Grace really hurt, injuries to key lineman throughout, and the match up obviously wasn't a good one in the second round. Hopefully, no high ranking next year, chip or edge returns and they stay healthy. As far as the schedule is concerned, you're gonna be surprised if they get the first game scheduled they're trying to and if they keep Angleton, they're going to be really good. I wish they were healthy this year in week 2. Could've exposed some things that could've been shored up. Scheduling Huffman and Willis in a scrimmage had zero bearing on this year!

Look on the bright side. Like me you can vote for a Cougar and a Indian
I just don't want to Subway sending me crap after their Jared debacle!

Man, they want my email address prep.

So, spending dollars equals more wins?
definitely part of it, spending the $$$ to upgrade your facilities to get more people in the stands equates to more money you can pay a better coach. As I've stated in a previous thread though, I think it was about Barbers Hill, hard to win without the Jimmys and Joes. So these areas that are growing and people get jobs in the area, when their kid plays football you don't think they look at all of that? Who is winning, how the facilities are and how that school is going to help get their kid to the next level. The only school around SETX that really isn't like that is WOS. Year in and year out, they compete on a high level.

I did. Calling folks trash is uncalled for, no matter who does it.
Well when you try to have a battle of wits and start to come up short. The next resort is to start with the classic keyboard warrior stuff.

if Navy beats UofH that game will be huge: a win puts them in a New Years Six bowl game.
I don't see Houston stopping that O, gotta outscore them. Look up most rushing TD's in NCAA history. That's the offense you run when you don't have the athletes. Surprising Paul Johnson doesn't do better with it with better athletes at Ga Tech.

this year in football at this point of the season? Hell no. Lol and they better hope Auburn doesn't do the unthinkable on Saturday.
I hope Mayhem happens, BAMA loses, UNC beats Clemson, etc etc. Btw, bucket list check off this year, I'm going to the Army/Navy game in Philly.
